“Look at yourself, you’re embarrassing me.” A bunch of voices rushed to my aide, all at the same time, they kept talking over each other, each voice is more boisterous than the last. “Hey! One at a time!” He looked right at me and said ‘embarrassing.’ Embarrassing? I’m embarrassing you? Then I heard one of them say “look at you using all of us to deal with your own reflection.”
I couldn’t transfer information from the SD Card to a file on the laptop OR to the iPad which I could then send as an email. It ruined my morning. That’s it, an information transfer, that’s all it took. I allowed it to ruin several hours. Ridiculous. It’s times like this I need to remind myself the difference between a dilemma and blessing:

Tantrums of the Necessary Kind
I’m working on a DLive video. I’m in the middle of a test run right now actually. My good friend @theruggle will speed up my drawing with his editing wizardry and add his original music to it. I’m really excited about this new venture and I’m looking forward to showing all of you. I just started drawing in the past six months so to say I’m excited about filming one of these things is an understatement. It has been consuming the majority of my time lately. My knowledge with electronics is increasing daily thanks to this platform but I’m still a little lot behind. For example; I just found out what an SD Card is today.
We’ve had to invest in a couple pieces of equipment to try this recording thing. All we had were our iPhones - No tablets, no cameras, nothing like that, my wife and I are light wanderers. I look around me now, however, and I see quite a few new gadgety things. But this morning when I couldn’t send data from Los Angeles, California to Knoxville, Tennessee after several hours of failed attempts, I actually embarrassed myself. Just ask the mirror:
I forgot to be thankful. Thankful for all these little gadgety things - I’m the luckiest guy I know! My wife likes me. She likes me a lot! I have a couple people I can count on. I’m actually in the process of recording a drawing - that’s just insane! I have time - All the time I need. It’s always between 70-82 degrees here. No car note. The lights are on. I’m thankful for this phone I’m typing this post with. I’m thankful for those of you still reading this. I’m thankful for my wife’s 11 cent Upvote, and yours, too. And thanks for the oxygen, too, God, it’s perfect! All my senses still work and thanks for the hot water. I’m thankful my wife has family members, that’s a new one! Still never had to buy diapers - Nope! Thanks for the doors that always seal when I close the fridge. I’ve never had a tire blow out, ever, thanks for that. I’m thankful for the food and the means to prepare them. And last but not least, I’m thankful for everything that didn’t get listed right here.
You don't know about it, but I throw tantrums. It strikes when I lack of sleep, food, weed, or a combination of the 3 that could be translated as an adult version of a child rolling on the ground, minus the rolling , but with more swearing and few fists up to the sky, on the walls, and sometimes to myself.
I know, I am not proud of it, as I am clearly OCD, when things don't go my way , I tend to become a monkey throwing shit at you.
The only person that seems to know the right way to talk to me , is my wife, that speaks to me as if I was a 3 years old and it tends to take the pressure of the situation as I realize how ridiculous the whole situation looks like from an outsider perspective.
Next time, I will think about you, and just be thankful to be smart enough to understand that this moment in time is just a mere fart in my own existence
I am thankful to read your post, and thankful that you are thankful
Thanks for sharing Ed. Actually, my wife is hyperglycemic, I’m absolutely familiar with tantrums caused by lack of food.
We’ll both use this one to remind ourselves to take a look at our surroundings next time we embarrass the mirror, deal?
I’m thankful we met homie! And thanks for dropping a line on this fine Saturday - Great day to be alive ain’t it?!
Tell lionmom we said thanks for putting up with you! Happy weekend ya’all!
Edit: You know what? A good friend of mine just sent me a big huge bag of goodies. In it were these, Ed:
I’m completely naive to your resources in South Africa, sir, but if for some reason you could sample these capsules, let me know what you think. Like I said, he sent me a big ol’ bag of goodies but these capsules are awwwsoooomme!
I think it's a nice ratio 60 % THC and 40 % Cannabinoid , which is what is written on your box.
They both have a different effect and purpose!
Wow it looks so professional, we gonna start a business here in South Africa, my wife went yesterday in a dispensary here in Johannebsurg where they sell little sachet of dabbing for outrageous amount of money, the law is still in transition so I have no clue how they opened a business .
"I’m completely naive to your resources in South Africa" Weed is to South Africa what Wine is to France. The only thing i can complain about it the curation ( the way you let your weed mature and dry) process of the weed itself, is not optimal but it's a story for a different time!
The Sativa , which is a strain of cannabis that can creates monster plant, originates from here and Swaziland. There is Durban Poison on the coast too which is very potent and with a strong aroma
Love that you managed to convert this morning's mishaps into such a declaration of gratitude! Thank you for creating such a positive post from your challenges. I must admit my favorite part of it all was you noting that your wife likes you..alot! That certainly is something to be quite gracious about! Hope the rest of your week is filled with all that delights you and the Mrs.:0)

And yes.. “like” being the key wOrd. I know she loves me, people who don’t know us know that. But she actually likes me. That’s value!
@dandays your thoughts resonate with me quite frequently, and I am delighted to be part of the evolution we are currently undertaking. It is my pleasure to support thinkers such as yourself! The perspective I am offered here on steemit is amazingly fulfilling, and I look forward to the reality we are cocreating through our sharing on this platform;0)
I thought I had lost a number of items, but in reality, they were merely misplaced. I have inevitably discovered that searching for misplaced articles can be more frustrating than actually losing them.: the longer the search continues, the more the frustrations mount. Once it's accepted that something is truly lost you become freed from the chase.
A quick top three things that I'm thankful for...
My family ...my wife, my kids, my GRANDCHILDREN, and great friends.
Good health.
The ability to use all of my senses: to see new beauty each day, to find music in the sounds of nature, to recall the taste of simplicity, to feel happy.
Be thankful on my 1 cent ! :)
I just got a slider, too! Laugh out loud
