Create Your Own Best Life

I believe that there's a correlation between the way people cross the street, and their success in business. Countless times I've seen people stagnant on the corner of the street, waiting to cross, watching the "Don't Walk" sign -- even while there isn't a car to be seen. They decide not to cross because they are task rabbits, listening to orders rather than seizing their most valuable asset, time. This type of mindset is hurting a lot of people in their job searches.

It's difficult to find a job if you rely on Indeed or Monster.com. Why? Because there are too many people doing the same damn thing. We cannot just hope that a job is listed that fits our personality, we apply, and magically are offered an interview and eventually the job. This is not happening. We cannot just hope that our resume reaches the top of the stack of 500 applicants. This is like waiting for the crossing sign to tell you to walk. We need to create our own walking space, and seize the opportunities that are available, every single day. We must find the companies and people that we would enjoy working for. Let's get in contact with these actual, real people -- the people who have the power to put you in a role that you will love, learn from, and succeed in. Let's connect with these people, tell them our story, and show them what we can help them with. How we can make their lives a bit easier.

Once you start doing this, you are creating your own walking space, your own best life, your own destiny.
