Great video. I just listened to your podcast interview with the Jeff Berwick, which is how I discovered Steemit in the first place, very interesting discussion and some great points covered by both of you.
It's funny how once you start questioning everything that new information and people start appearing, for example I found your YouTube channel a few years ago after I saw an interview with you and Luke Rudkowski of We Are Change. From that along with the Richie Allen Show I discovered last year, Jeff Berwick which lead me to Steemit. Through Jeff Berwick I have discovered Dr Robert Morse which has now made me look at my health and what I'm eating and from there I have stopped eating meat and switched to a mostly high fruit raw foods diet and I have to say I'm feeling the best I've felt in a long time! Your megaphoning in supermarkets has also had an influence. Great work Danny, I very much enjoy your content. :)
Good effort for quitting meat brother!
Cheers @tonysayers33, yeah, after 38 years of eating meat, I'm done. Now I've switched to a raw vegan diet I have been feeling amazing and I now truly realise how crappy eating meat made me feel.
Great stuff.
:)
Sadly, even Bitcoin mining involves the blood of child slaves in Africa for the minerals used in the technology:
Good point. Exploitation is everywhere. Also what are your thoughts about the amount of electricity used by bitcoin miners?
My understanding is that most of the mining is currently done in China and Iceland because China offered very cheap or even free electricity to stimulate industry and Iceland has access to so much 'free' geothermal electricity. China's version is hugely polluting and powered by coal and nuclear sources.
It is massively important that all computing technology is made more efficient and that is an ongoing process behind the scenes at all levels (usually). In the case of Bitcoin, my understanding is that it is quite inefficient in terms of the resources needed to mine it and there are much more efficient cryptocurrnencies from the perspective of resource usage, but I have never seen a comparison that shows how they all stack up against each other - it would be interesting to research.
Some great points .... it is also cold in Iceland and so they don't need as much electricity to power the fans to keep the kit cool. They just have a warehouses with a cold through draught I believe!
well ... people are trying :

all good things take time, mister shine, i think post milennials when scraped off the outer layer of the norm will have a slightly higher percentage of people aware of what the hell we are actually doing with this dirtball to the point of
as i like to say it ... "you can't launch a rocket on a woodstove" or as i have been shouting on every forum i can find "is there any numbers guy who can calculate how many humans it takes before all molecules on the planet are sapients" ...
and then the wind cries mary lol
the thing is will it be in time or is it already too late and are we past the point of no return, as long as theres overpopulation a number of humans will be simply treated as resources , no more no less, despite the haughty facade of mankind that's how nature works ... e=mc² ... no good or evil
but humans (the general common denominator of the word) likes to pretend they're above that
love the pic btw ...
I just saw you on The Anachast ........ Immediate follow. Keep up the great work.
This was very good small video :) I hope very that you make more this videos :))
I would have said yes immediately,...." yes, we will take BTC "
And I'm sure your wife wants more BTC ... if those diamonds :)))
LOL Danny, short and sweet this one! I wonder if you might have wished for a bit more engagement - perhaps from mgmt - in order to get some more points across. I imagine you'd've been prepared to talk about the blood connection, and then move onto dessert when they call in the authorities :D.... Guess it just didn't happen this time!
