Hi I'm Danny! I'm travelling around the world! Please Follow me
@ginasarasini I couldn't think of a safer place to travel alone, or with friends. It's all about the eco tourism and wildlife, and each place has guides that will look after you. The local people are super friendly. You have to go it's very safe. I met a group of girls in Rio and they found it safe and easy to jump on a plane to Campo Grande International Airport. Whilst the tourist destinations in Bonito are remote there are buses which make it very easy.
@koshin I've never been to the Phillipines (that's where it is right?) but I'd love to go! I've trekked through Cambodia and Thailand so I guess that's the closest I've been to you!
@grimboslice819 well the area of the Pantanal is very close to Bonito and contains Jaguars which are extremely dangerous. This is probably the main thing to be aware of. I'm going to write about my interaction with a Jaguar next week so stay tuned!
@summerxxx I finished school and worked for six months, then chucked some clothes in a backpack and left for the east coast of Australia spontaneously. I've loved travelling ever since and take any opportunity to travel.
@mrahaman Brazil is more expensive than the rest of South America, but Bonito isn't any more expensive than the rest of Brazil! So yeah, it's reasonable! Generally I'll be working for a company, or volunteering on various projects so I usually get food and some kind of accommodation in return.
@clintjunior Steem doesn't fund my travels yet (because I've only just started to write full time) but I am blown away by the response to my recent stories. I guess writing about my travels has always been a hobby. To have a group of people reading my posts every day, and to get paid is incredible. So thank you to you all! To anyone trying to build a following - keep going - make sure you interact in steemit.chat - and keep travelling!
@britt.the.ish you can only down there with a guide. in fact every single place in Bonito is strictly controlled on numbers of tourists by the guides. This regulation keeps it sustainable and keeps the impact of tourism down to a minimum. You're quite far underground so yeah the water is a little fresh - definitely need wet suits!

Fabulous post Mate. I know absolutely nothing about this place you call Bonito.....But if you ever want to visit North America I can show you some Awesome places in and around Idaho.
Thank you for your advice. Never been to these places. So much new to discover. Write more. I really like the look of these photos.
I have never seen such fish, as they are called?
Doing a great job, enjoying your self too. I like the water fall..wow what a bit fish. Keep safe buddy..
I am very inspired by every article you post. I am 44 years old, but I keep saying "When I grow up, I want to be like @dannystravels " I am an Indiana Jones of the Caribbean. Steemit is best!
The question isn't about Bonito lol but what camera do you use? I've been thinking about trying some photography and I don't really know what to buy.
"Steem doesn't fund my travels yet (because I've only just started to write full time)"
Just do not give up and keep steeming. The success will come
Thank you, Danny for answering all the questions.
Your stories are really inspiring, especially for people like me who love traveling.
I'm looking forward for more interesting content from you.
These beautiful fish, The name Bonita in Spanish means beautiful they live up to that Blue colors heavy body large forked tail, all things about this fish show it is fast & powerful, Their blood seems to have a lot of iron in it being fast requires of lot of energy.
What made you choose to go to Bonito...
• Abismo Anhumas
• Rio da Prata
• Aquário Natural
• Circuito Arvorismo
• Gruta do Lago Azul
I think I would go to rappel into the underground lake at Abismo Anhumas!! Amazing!!!
this post, and those pictures made me experience like I was there...

Great post man really enjoy it!
Great photos again! Thank you. Safe travels!
I take it the cold water in the caverns insure no piranhas but the other picture in the wooded area with the waterfall. How do you know its safe to enter the water just ask the guides?
Very nice pictures and post. Τravelling around the world must be and interesting but dangerous experience. Take care. Followed and upvoted

Looks great some fantastic pictures cheers
So lucky, good job, and i wish i had all these upvotes and comments like you :P
Great post, you picked up a new follower. Those caves look amazing. I saw something similar in Mexico and they are incredible. Thank you for sharing your travels. Good luck
Wow. I travelled to parts of Brazil about 10 years ago, really wanted to go to Bonito but just didn't manage it. Apart from the deep cave dives that you show above (which frightens me a little bit too much!) did you do any snorkelling in some of the clear fish filled springs that they always show on tourism brochures for Bonito? Looks amazing.
Excellent post friend, I hope we can help by following @juanjdiaz89
I like your pictures and thanks for answering your followers questions. Keep it coming
I can't help but to be a little envious, as travelling is my absolute favorite thing to do. So I have to ask, were you raised in one place, or did you travel a lot when you were younger too? (I was raised on the road and can't stand to stay in one place.)
Living the dream! Enjoy your travels my friend and enjoy your life! Much respect.
