A layer of clouds cover the snow-capped volcanoes
When you live in one of the driest places on earth, cloudy weather can be a luxury. Clouds always add texture and drama to your scene.
Over the past few weeks we've had some stormy weather come over the Andes Mountains bringing clouds and covering the volcanoes with snow. In the Atacama Desert over 90% of days during the year are clear, which is why you absolutely must take advantage of any cloudy days.
Sunset shots can be enhanced by adding clouds to your scene that are reflecting the reds, oranges and pink tones. So that's been my focus over the last few weeks - trying to capture cloudy weather and sunsets using still photography.
