Hi I'm Danny! I'm travelling around the world! Follow me.
I'm staying in one of the many wildlife conservancies that border the Maasai Mara national reserve in Kenya. For the next couple weeks I'm going to try and post each evening from The Naboisho Conservancy.
CHEETAHS
Out of all the big cats in this conservancy the Cheetahs are the most vulnerable. Lions travel in a pride which offers protection from Hyenas and other animals while they are feeding, but Cheetahs do not.
Cheetahs are smaller and much more fragile. They don't travel in big backs and as a result they have a tougher time.
Cheetahs are the only cat that can't retract their claws, they also can't run long distances, but they have the fastest acceleration and top speed out of any mammal. They are just beautiful animals.
Cheetah Cubs
We were extremely lucky to see a Cheetah make a kill
We saw this Cheetah making a kill on an Impala and bring in her cubs to feed right in front of us. The percentage of kills these big cats make is actually very low and they struggle. This female Cheetah might not make another kill for a week or so.

You take incredible photos and you were really lucky to see those cheetahs. They are so beautiful, thanks to you they are now on my list of favorite animals!

Wow, these are amazing shots, and those babies!! <3
What lens did you use when photographing the cheetah? I am trying to visualize how far away you were.
Looks like a really fun trip. I hope to do something like this soon!
Cheetah has always been my favorite cat. Very few people get to witness the fastest animal hunt down an impala. Awesome!
Hey @dannystravels! How cool! You are at it again with yet another AWESOME post. What a FUN life you live. I loved living abroad in Japan for 3 years. Can't wait to see more from you. Keep posting the awesome content! Happy travels! ~ Lauren - @travelingartgal
OMG..It's so amazing! thanks for sharing these photos
Quite interesting really amazing how you manage to capture all this wild life picture, very lovely
Wow!
I saw the same story, during our trip to Kenya.
The cheetah caught a small antelope and just started eating, when the hyena ran up and just took the whole Impala!
Nature rules....
Reading your posts, warm memories about Africa cover me!
Once you have been to Africa, you will never be the same again.
This is a very interesting post, the pictures are good, I am happy with the work @dannystravels

@dannystravels , It is my dream to explore & experience the Wildlife with naked eyes. Hope I will in near future visit Australia .
Thanks Danny for those photos really , that will become part of my collection and certainly make it more amazing !!!
As amazing as that is, I have a strong tendency to side with the herbivores in these nature-red-in-tooth-and-claw contests :)
That said, still a deep experience and something to remember for the rest of your days. Steem on!
This post contributed to my general culture. I was not aware that cheetahs run faster because they can retract their claws, and are more aggresive, because they are lonely... I loved the pictures of the cubs
Amazing post. You have a new follower here, feel free to check my blog and let me know what you think @dannystravels
Beautiful! This looks like a great place to go!:) Please check my little journey that I made soon. I hope you enjoy my photos. @nakedchef89

Awesome! I was just in Kruger and loved all of the wildlife but did not get to see any cheetahs or leopards. Have you been?
The beauty of nature!
