There are 3 iconic landmarks in Rio that you must visit when you are here. Christ The Redeemer, Sugarloaf mountain, and the Two Brothers mountain / Ipanema beach. First up: Sugarloaf mountain.
Not only is the view of Sugarloaf famous, but you can also take a cable car to the top and enjoy stunning panoramic views of Copocabana beach and the rest of the city.
As the sun rises over Sugarloaf mountain the silhouette of this famous rock looks magnificient.
If you're feeling active, then another way to see Sugarloaf is to take a kayak from Praia Vermelha. In the distance you can see Christ The Redeemer.
