— Since the time of Christ,

Religion has moved masses, has dominated minds at will with no trustworthy proof other than faith in something, in an energy that emanates peace and tranquility.

However, religion has kept secrets, information that if revealed would fall on its own under the strong foundations that have been forged and in which it has been maintained for centuries.

The Holy Shroud or Shroud of Turin, is one of the most valuable pieces in the cathedral of the Italian city of Turin, where the blanket is located; similarly it represents great value for the Catholic religion because it is believed that this cloth was the one that covered the deceased body of Christ for three days before his resurrection.

Mysteries are those that surround the Holy Shroud since, although it represents great symbolism for religion, it is also little credible that such a discovery is real.

That is why in the 70's began the scientific research around the sacred shroud, those who believed that everything would result in a farce, did not have enough evidence to disprove the veracity of the Shroud.

One of his most common tests among scientists was the Bloodstain Pattern Analysis performed by forensic scientist Matteo Borrini who works as a researcher at John Moores University in Liverpool, United Kingdom.

Through this test,

Borrini in conjunction with his team who worked to reach a conclusion by observing the size, shape and distribution of the blood traces to reveal how the wounds occurred chose to use a dummy along with real blood (donated) e they tried to recreate the wounds that appeared in the Shroud of Turin, who when analyzing the patterns of these samples, simply did not coincide.

There was no explanation of many of the blood patterns that were found on the Shroud, especially for the blood that was accumulated under what would be Jesus' waist.

Nevertheless,

an examination carried out at the end of the 80's with carbon 14 reveals that the canvas could have been created around the Middle Ages at a point between 1260 and 1390 AD, which would be curious because the first time which would have been exposed was in France in the year of 1357.

With all the findings collected in the research done by Borrini and Garlaschelli (expert in organic chemistry) reflect that the Shroud of Turin is a farce of the Middle Ages.

Even so, there are still many Catholics who believe that the mantle is real and continue to take the Shroud as a symbol of faith and the suffering that Jesus Christ suffered when He was crucified.
