I Took My Mom To Her Bank Again 8.18.2020

Mom doesn't do anything with the ATM, so I take her to a location downtown that has tellers. We had to wear masks and wait in a line. There was a guy ahead of us that stepped in a small hole where a tree should have been. He came out OK, but didn't see the hole.

He looked like he wanted someone to give him a light. I guess he asked me, but I didn't understand him at the time. I thought it was a big cigarette behind his ear.

After he found someone to give him a light he smoked it a little off the line. Well, I kept his place and my mom ask me why she is smelling skunk. Well, I am guessing that, that guy was smoking some skunk weed. I had a roommate from long ago that use to smoke skunk weed. It is a marijuana type.

Well, I won't say anything, who knows, it might even be legal now days. I am not up on the marijuana laws. I was a big believer in hemp though.

Since hemp is easier to grow than cotton, I would like to have some jeans made out of hemp. I heard the first Levi's were actually made from hemp. Well, hemp would last a whole lot longer than cotton.

I heard that people are using different sections of the hemp plant, even making a plastic out of hemp, not only using its oil to make plastic, but also adding in the fiber of its stalks to increase the strength of the hemp plastic.

Well, I see a lot of industrial uses of hemp. I was hoping that the USA would increase their uses of hemp other than the recreational use and its medical use.

Can you imagine a lighter hemp cement? Cement made with the husks or fiber of hemp. Maybe when all the states make it legal, it will be possible to use hemp as an industrial product.

Well, anyway that guy was smoking his big cigarette with hemp in it. Then afterward he came back into the line. We started to talk about cars. He seemed to like the cars made in the 70's. I told him I have a 89 Nissan Sentra, which I used to bring my mom to the bank.

I just found out that my headlights work, but my rear lights don't come on when I turn the lights on. It could be a short or something else. It is just I don't really want to put a lot money into this car anymore. So what will I do with this car that has rear lights that will not go on with the headlights? Well, I think I won't drive it at night anymore, unless it is an emergency. Well, I still have my other vehicles, the 93 Honda Accord and the 91 Chevy S10. I could drive those vehicles at night.

Like I said in the 89 Nissan Sentra the rear lights don't work with the headlights, however when I put on the brakes, the brake lights do work. Funny how that goes.

So I talked to that guy for a bit, then I mentioned that I don't drink anymore because of Jesus. Then he told me that Jesus was his God. Well, that was interesting. He told me that he liked to read Proverbs and I told him some of the books I was going over.

I did tell him that we need to know the words of Jesus, as Jesus did say, why call me Lord Lord and not do the things which I say.
So I told him we got to know all the words of Jesus, so we can know what he wants us to do.

The line kept on going forward then he got to go into the bank. Only so many can get into the bank.

Well, mom and I got in finally and mom did get to do her transactions. Then we went shopping for some things.

Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, with Jesus speaking, Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. Matthew 7:5.
