Enjoying Your Life

in #life7 years ago

What does it mean to enjoy your life? I mean really enjoy. What is living your life? Is it waking up every day to go to a job you hate, working you’re ass off for 40 plus hours a week or more in order to have an over-priced roof over you’re head or some overly priced food you could have just grown and or raised yourself? Maybe it’s spending time outdoors, spending time with you’re kids if you have any, or maybe with a significant other sharing a picnic under a tree somewhere in the forest? Yeah, those last few actually seem enjoyable, wouldn’t you agree?

In today's post, I am going to share some of what I find enjoyable in life. I would LOVE it if my followers or anyone else reading this post will comment about things in life you find enjoyable and why it is you find them so enjoyable. It would be wonderful of course ENJOYABLE and lots of fun to see what other people have to share.

There is so much one forgets while spending their entire life surrounded by nothing but man-made objects and massive amounts of people shuffling through life like zombies. Such as the simple things in life, such as Nature. I have now been in the Northern California forests two days shy of three weeks and I can honestly say I enjoy the mountains more than the big city. I enjoy being able to fall asleep within minutes of laying down in my campers bed, unlike the city where it could take me hours to fall asleep or having to take a Xanax to calm me down enough to doze off.

I am SO grateful enough to be living right on the river, I enjoy wading out into the middle of the river and then swimming there in place against the current for as long as possible before returning to the river's edge where my beer awaits for me keeping cool lying in the river's water.

The next thing that I have been finding enjoyable is Steemit.com of course and all the followers that I have been gaining lately and the stories and great content from all the Steemians that I have been following and I can’t forget to say thank you to everyone who has upvoted me, helped me figure things out like @doctorspence who helped me figure out posting on d.tube via Firefox browser, not Chrome. I find it so enjoyable, that I have actually invested some of my own savings into to STEEM not much but hey I’m not going to be the one saying I missed out if this shit takes off.

I enjoy picking these tasty cherries from the tree that grows next to the house near the river. These are the best cherries I have ever had. I haven't even had store bought cherries that have tasted this great.

Now This Is The Bee's Knee's

I have been enjoying this river so much. As I was sitting listening to the water flow by and watching the birds dive bomb bugs on the river I heard a buzzing to the left of me. I look to my left and to my surprise I see a bumblebee gathering pollen from the Blackberry bushes, I take my phone to get a photo. Most came out bad but this one, this one is of him taking off of the flower.

Above is a photo I took of the suns beautiful and life-giving ray's coming through the Blackberry bush, I thought it would look cool so I took a snap and posted here for all of you to see. I hope you enjoyed my Monday photos.

I want to thank a few of the steemians who have voted for and thank everyone who has followed me as well. I just need to find everyone and jot their names down to thank. I tried to get everyone's name's down but I didn't have time this morning. I will be thanking more people this week. Thanks again for all the votes! Please feel free to resteem and remember comments are always welcome. :-)

Here I will impart to you how to appreciate life. In any case, before that, I'd jump at the chance to share two hints that are fundamental to carry on with a glad life. The first is to be appreciative. I can't underscore enough how essential it is. Regardless of what number of charming things you do, on the off chance that you don't figure out how to be thankful you will dependably observe things adversely.

The second one is to back off. Life has a great deal of straightforward things you can appreciate. In any case, on the off chance that you move too quick you will ignore the majority of them. So don't be in a rush. Try not to move too brisk. Back off and focus on your general surroundings. A large portion of the routes I'm going to share will function admirably just on the off chance that you back off.

Thanks for commenting. I agree with you on missing out on the simple yet important aspects in life do to moving throughout life on high speed. Living in a big city such as Los Angeles does that to someone. That is why I got out. I need to be able to enjoy life and when your constantly bombarded by so many things at once, one easily forgets the important things. Thank you again for commenting on this post.
