RE: We are the Rod Squad. A family of four out of NYC, starting a new chapter in our lives after our recent miscarriage.

Rodsquad, just fyi - your recent sbd bid to promobot is likely wayyyyy to high. The bot will divy up each vote equally based on the number of bids, and presently we are the only two bidders. Ther was only one bidder in the round before us. That means if we had both bid 10sbd, or even 1sbd, we'd each get half. Of the total vote. As it stands now you are going to get the bulk of the vote, but the actual amount of profit you will make off of that vote is substantially less than you would have made if you just bid with 10 sbd

In order to keep track of these sorts of tactical choices when bidding on bot services, check out steembottracker.com where the bots and their current bids are monitored in real time. especially in less active times for the bid bots its really important to keep an eye on activity before you bid or you will be spending way more money then you may need to in order to get a sub par result.

Welcome to steemit btw!

Thanks for the tip, dber. I'll definitely take that into account next time. Talk soon!

Actually scratch that - at least for promobot - turns out promobot will only give a set max upvote percentage although that isn't indicated on steembottracker. I think the tactic still applies to several vote bots, but not promobot.

And this is @dber from my other account btw :)
