When I was young my dearest grandma used to drink water melted from the ice. And my later investigation about this was excited. And I'd like to share with you my findings. It is connected with our #STEEMianHealth
The water we drink is not so simple as we usually think. H2O - is only one type of molecules of water, but there are more... with different properties, activity even radiation.
Some chemistry and phisycs
There are different types of water existed. Depending on the type of hydrogen inside it can be light, semiheavy and heavy water. Heavy water is another substance. For example heavy water become ice at the temperature around +3,8 of C, it is more acid, etc. Heavy water has one significant property - it is "transparent" for neutrons that is why it is used in nuclear reactors.
Some physiology
Surveys show that organism can not live using only heavy water. It is not too toxic but chemical reactions go much slower. That is why it has significant influence on health.
Main recipe:
As my grandma did with some additions.
You will need metal or plastic pot with wide hole, water, patience, freezer
- Pour water into the pot
- Put the pot it into the freezer.
- Wait, be patient)
- When water will start crystallizing remove first ice.
- Again put the pot to the freezer
- Wait until 95% of water become ice.
- Pour out remaining water
- Melt ice in a warm place
- Drink for optimal health
