Circus today
The worldwide well known circus Roncalli is in town and we got tickets for the whole family together with
some friends. A wonderful trip to Recklinghausen.

The Circus Roncalli
Did you know the the Circus Roncalli is a German circus and that this was founded way back in 1976 by Bernhard Paul and André Heller?
The name Roncalli was inspired by a film from Peter Hajek,
"Sarah Roncalli, daughter of the moon"
The bar
After you enter - with some music play by the artists - you enter the first big and well heated tent.
Not only at the bar but at many other shops you get some food and drinks for the 2-3 hour show.
I grabbed some beer
and a lot popcorn for the kids
The show starts
We got a very nice seat at the top and the show beginns.
The Clown 🤡
A quite funny and typical show with a huge clown in a way to big trouser starts.

Seems like it was a lot of fun! I've never actually been to a traditional circus. The closest thing would be a cirque du soleil show. I've seen a few in Las Vegas and only one under a tent - Luzia. I'm glad to see there was beer! That's going to be quite the #beersaturday post.
In Germany 🇩🇪 there is a beer everywhere. ;-)

Wow!!! Love the preview video. Especially the clown playing with the bubbles... I can "see" my girls scream in excitement when they see the bubbles... They just love playing with bubbles...

That's a different looking elephant. Is it robotic? I've never been to a circus such as this. Some clowns are scary but these clowns does not look like that. It's impressive that it is still an ongoing act after so many years.

I love the circus and never been on one. I've been to different animal and acrobatic shows but I'd love feel what it feels like on a circus! Thanks for sharing this.
I am so happy to hear that this circus removed the usual animals, and introduced a different kind :) I always enjoyed circus because I love acrobats. This seems like it was really fun to experience. Thanks for the great photos.
This looks like big fun! I have only been to one circus and it wasn’t the greatest. I look forward to going to another one but hopefully it’s as interesting as this one.
Your post caught my attention because my husband and I just watched the movie called “The Greatest Showman” which is about P.T. Barnum’s creation of Barnum and Bailey Circus. It was a pretty good watch :)
An amazing attraction. In our area there is no spectacle like this, except to open a television broadcast abroad. Let me follow you
