Fantastic article and very relevant information! I am a hiring manager, and I can attest to the vast array of personality and knowledge based testing that is involved in different positions. The "higher" the position, the greater amount of testing; this is to ensure that we are truly getting the best fit for the position and that the candidate is truly going to be satisfied in this job role as well, it always has to go both ways! Employer satisfaction+employee happiness=greater results and long lasting partnership.

Very good point. I wish more hiring managers and HR heads had input to this. I find it somewhat relevant to need the testing but at the same time when is it really to much?
