Haha yeah. A lot of people aren't very good at questioning their own beliefs. I knew a few people like that and talking to them was strange because we were roughly the same age but they were so sheltered that it was like trying to relate to a child or something.

I wonder if it is a similar cause for these two things. We live under these systems of authority who have an interest in keeping busy and ignorant. If one works 12 hours a day he or she probably won't have the time or energy to research public policy let alone oppose it. So the "hard worker" is glorified and people come to believe that it is the best thing a person can be. With religion, questions are dangerous and things that will cause people to ask them are forbidden and the idea of piety is tied to "righteous" ignorance. Then again, that could just be some "tin-foil hat" type of "theory" that I got into my head lol.

One can get out of the matrix, it's hard but possible.

Truth. That is kind of related to what I am writing right now, in fact. If I can ever make myself finish editing I should have it posted in a little while but my tendency toward slacking off is pulling me away from being productive right now lol.

Haha I know what you mean. I'm the same atm lol. Too many distractions!

I know right? Every time I start to work, something more fun comes up lol.
