“You share my life, but push me away,
You want my love, but not to share”
He stays through the sorrows of the howling windy days,
He presence himself as the only one to offer such beauty,
He knows, he is needed and wanted,
He secretly laughs within, as she surrenders,
He tells her what she wants to hear,
He turns her head inside and out, makes her heart pound and yearn for him.
Once he has caught her,
rescued her from despair.
He drops her back down,
making her feel like she has nothing to share, then the cycle repeats.
Her heart bleeds, until there is nothing left but pain in her weeping voice.
She tries to continue her journey, in the hope of a better love, a better day.
Thank you friends for reading my post, its dedicated to all men and women that have been subjected to mental abuse in relationships. Never give up hope, there is light at the end of the tunnel. xxx
well depicted....the vicious cycle of hurt, fear, and disappointment in many relationships...
Aww thanks, I think both men and women experience it, it can be a viscous cycle, of going backwards and forwards until there is nothing left. Sad really how the human brain works. Thank you for your comment x
