Hi everyone, today there are no pictures but words. I was attacked last night by a family members husband. He was intimidating my 11 year old daughter accusing her of something she had not done. My daughter is honest, soft hearted and loving. He did it infront of me and tried to intimidate me. I tried to record his abusive behaviour but he twisted my hand back hurting my wrist. He took my phone. As I tried to retrieve it, he tried to break my arm, I felt a crunch. I managed to get it eventually. I was so scared, shaking...,This resulted in that family member wanting a divorce. My child is distraught by his behaviour. Im as you can imagine, terrified and in pain but kept my child safe. I will be taking legal action.
All wanted is for people to understand one of the many forms of abuse. Domestic violence is increasing and many turning a blind eye. Even though he opologised to my daughter, no sorry will fix the damage caused. Please get help, life is too short. I hope my honesty, shows awareness and gives you strength in whichever suffering you face. Stay safe and only keep kind/loving people in your life.

This is really sad...also its disgusting to see a man resorting to physical violence with a lady! I hope he pays heavily for his mistakes

Aquí en venezuela se ve a diario. pero hay instituciones que protegen a la mujer. De hecho hasta canales de televisión que animan a las mujeres a denunciar al agresor
Thats good, people should stand up to it and name and shame them. They dont do that here, perpetrators are not put on TV. Violence shouldn't happen but it does.

STOPI'm so sorry that you experienced this. I lived and loved a man who abused me for 8+ years so domestic violence hits home for me. I pray that you are able to find the support you need to cope with this experience. Best wishes.
