Street market

In Dhaka city you will find many street markets. This market is very popular for the low income people as the price of goods are comparatively cheap.

You will find everything here. On the way back from my office I took some pictures where you will find many items which are sold here.

As Bangladesh is very renowned for textile and garments, the main selling items are related to textile. Beside the textile you will find some supporting items like shoes and sandals, ornaments, children items, toys etc.

Sharing some pictures from the street market here. As the time was evening, the pictures are quite dark. Here you are-

They buyers and sellers all are happy at the end of the day. There are some difficulties also due to this street market. Pedestrians and vehicles can’t move properly. As a result traffic jam occurs every now and then.

Government should think about the rehabilitation of these floating shops and the sellers. A specific place could be selected where they will sit and people will go there to buy their required items.
