Mac's are wonderful if you are an artist. They are usually lightweight and decently powerful. However, the price tag is generally what dissuades most people from buying these laptops. Going for a used 15" is a pretty good bet, and you may fall in love with your computer. They two operating systems both handle video editing very well and are about as competent as the other.
