FYI little man LLC only incorporates the Company and opens the door wide open to the IRS. Try not filing like you do with you personal taxes. Every trinket you receive from here on is now an asset and must be declared as income and depreciated. Try selling the shit on CL now! IRS will eat your lunch.

good job for falling for it... now every single thing you do is taxable to include every single donation, gift, income from anything with that name. also anything you do to slander anybody with they can take your company AND sue you and your family and anyone who supports you financially. this LLC does not protect you from lawsuits where you as a person slander and fraudulently attack people... also i and others can still sue you for ANYTHING you did in the past 7yrs prior to this LLC. basically you just wasted even more of your money time and effort as per usual. good boy troy...

Actually you have some things wrong. I will keep the corporation separate from my life. Any earnings from the corporation have to be filed under the corporate taxes.
Any earnings that I myself make must go under my personal income taxes.

Poor troy, thinks he already found a loop hole. But what he actually did was open himself up to the IRS like never before. If LLC's were so great everyone would do it. Small time businesses usually realize they had no need for them and what they thought they were protecting is not protected.

Oh dear Mr Reid you have failed at your research again. The LLC requires you to file quarterly returns with IRS. Any income you derive from your LLC means paying tax twice. Somebody can still trademark The DIY World and cause your You Tube account to be closed down. I have the means to do it but where would my daily entertainment be coming from?

Only way you can separate the two would be to not film in your home and not discuss your personal business on your DIY videos. You think you can have a happy medium but it doesn't work that way. The Do It Yourself World LLC is going to be selling products all nice and legal.
Not that easy and NOT gonna work. The most money comes from your YT videos and that is your life. Once you start selling product that's another can of worms but I think you are mistaken and I'm sure you will turn all this over to an accountant so it will be all legal. My tiny business requires paying my CPA over a thousand dollars a year but they keep everything straight and many times explained that what I thought was a write off was not. Probably kept me out of jail by using a good CPA
