Searching for Reality

in #life7 years ago

Try to imagine life when everything was real. I imagine things were completely real before WWI. Definitely things changed by the time WWII was over. In my lifetime fantasies have become normal. Blacks and whites have turned to gray. The concept of non-debatable truth has been lost. Nothing is real. 633CB879-BAF7-434E-A687-9F656F61CEC5.jpeg

This perception may be a slight exaggeration, but it feels real enough. The lack of social stability will not end well.

In early childhood, most of us find something we understand and latch on to it. For me, it was music. For many of my friends they latched onto sports, sex or drugs. Psycho drug use became popular during the Vietnam era. Hollywood sold us on illusions.

We have reached a point of illusions saturating everything around us. At least I am lost in a speculative environment. I ‘doubt’ frequently.

Perhaps I am noticing this because of age. I definitely miss the truths and innocence of my youth.

On my first job, my friends and I would visit a local root beer stand for lunch. We could get a large root beer in a chilled glass and two hot dogs for under $1. Times were simple and real.

Is reality gone, or am I lost?

Here is today’s beauty.

everything went down the toilet when they began to charge more than a nickel for a candy bar.

Everything is real but you might not like it. Have a good day in this real but managed world.

Things seem lost but we are not lost..the civilization caused it i think

I believe that the fact of living in a globalized and capitalist world changes our realities, maybe you want to live a life lightly but always the economic factor will bring you to reality!

You are not lost, but reality is lost, because the world is progressing but civilization is getting backwards.
Thank you for post.
Happy living a happy life from day to day
