Piyush Mishra is an Indian poet who composes songs, poems and screenplays. He is known for his deep and philosophical lines, which touch multiple aspects of our psyche.
This is my humble attempt to translate some of them to English for all readers out here.
"Something just whisked past me...carelessly running in mud and dust..
let me turn back to see...it was perhaps the childhood of mine."
"I was standing alone in the rain of sorrows.
Suddenly where did this crowd appear from, when it started raining happiness ?"
"The life is pretty lightweight, the burden is of the desires"
"I feel at peace after composing few couplets on the notebook,
I have groaned and vented without making a noise"
"I do not ask for anything from you Oh lord,
I do not like your habit of giving, but then snatching away"
