You are busy, increasing, calculating, developing your careers, your money, your occupation, your wealth unto you visit graves.
Think about it, when was the last time that you went to a funeral? was it to mother, was it to father, was it to grandfather, was it to uncle, was it to cousin, was it to friend, was it to wife, was it to husband. The last time that you visited the graves, when you went to the funeral and saw that person whom you love that was laughing, crying, boasting, wealthy, educated, denied, arrogant , whatever he was. What was the meaning of people when they walked to that funeral home where that person was stretched out in his last suit; were people cracking jokes? Were they dancing? Were they clapping and singing songs? No, silence, melancholia, trauma. Why? Because every person that walked in that room seeing that person stretched out the first thing that they think about is that one day this will be me.
And after you go to the funeral house, if you’ve got the guts if you are able to do so you’ll go to the grave, and here’s another scenario, and you say to yourself: is that it??? I mean after 50 or 60 years of scraping, struggling, scheming, stealing, fornicating , jumping up and down, begging, working and this is the end of it? I mean this is what’s going to happen to me, they will drop me in a hole in the ground, the same hole that the cat digs to defecate, just a little deeper, but for the same reason. So you and I we’re going to a hole, and all people are crying, pulling up their hair, screaming as if they want to enter with you and jump into there with you. Not really, you know that is just an acting, because nobody will jump in there and stay in there, they don’t love that much ^_^!!!.
And after shoveling, filling up and covering up everybody goes back to mom’s house ,dad’s house or whoever’s house forgetting all about that person. So it really means that after all this time and people walk away from that grave “it’s over”. What about that person in the grave? what’s happening? Because you know and I know that death is almost like sleeping; your body is dead, your spirit is gone but your consciousness is there. Your spirit is gone you can’t shout and call out, you can’t say : don’t leave me here, but you are going to be hearing and seeing because that is a different kind of consciousness but you can’t move, and in that grave is where the real trauma is going to begin, because there is a reason for humans they’re going inside the grave, if the Creator wanted to, He can cause us to live and then disappear into the atmosphere but He didn’t, He causes us to go the another womb called the tomb, you start out in the womb of your mother and wind up at the womb of the earth called the tomb “from the womb to the tomb”, this is the whole trip, and this is what you have to think about. That grave is going to be a place of drama and trauma, a place where you’ll be questioned before you’re resurrected.
My brothers and sisters !!! Do you think that human beings have the ability to take a piece of earth , dig it up, irrigate it, put down seeds, plant corn and the corn comes up and they harvest the corn, and after that what happens? They cut it down, dig it up again, put new seeds and what happens after that? Comes back up again. What happens in the winter? All leaves fall off the trees and earth in going to be dead, and what happens in the springtime? The water comes, generates the earth again, germinates all over again, new grass, new leaves, new flours, new fruits. So Allah says:”and a sign for them is the dead earth after that We give it life, so the one who gives the life in the beginning is He not able to give you life all over again in order to judge you?” Yes, certainly!. You may want to deny because you don’t want to be judged.
I agree with you DrBilal. Everyone will be judged in the Day of Judgement whether they are rich or poor. This life is a test for those who believe so live a life of a stranger.
