So I have to now choose between making money or spending money to gain knowledge, what to do?
So I have been so amped for the Steem Saturday that I found out about thanks to @jacor, only to find out yesterday that I have to go work that weekend in literally the middle of nowhere. the amount of nowhere is emphasised in the events name, "The Road to Nowhere", as the road running into the town literally stops at a mountain and goes ... guess where??? NOWHERE!!!

So now I have to choose do I go and work the event and make some cash or go to Steem Saturday that is going to cost me more than I would make that weekend, but could help me a lot in building great connections and learning more about this incredible platform???

Come to steem saturday better long term prospects than a the wage you will get. Networking is key
Yeah that's what I'm also thinking, but I'll have to see how my budget is looking as well.
