When I was a child, my family took a trip to Opryland in Tennessee. It is pronounced "Tin a Saeee" for those who are not familiar with the language in that area of the country.
We were only 3 hours away from it in Western Kentucky. The drive to this place seemed like it would never end. But, it did. At the gate, you could feel the opening of your heart be filled with great expectations.
There were many rides. It was the largest playground I had ever seen in those days. My heart was filled with joy. One of the rides there was a roller coaster.
The ups and downs on this ride were minimal at first. Then, the peaks just kept getting higher. And, just when you thought these peaks couldn't get any higher than the last, there came a huge mountain to climb near the end of this ride that seemed to take forever.
We have been making that climb in the markets since January 2019 by the way. But, back to my story. When we reached the highest point of this ride and stood at the top of it to view where we had came from, an eerie silence filled the air just like the last few days in market articles. ;) My heart sank fast as the fall into the ride to the station came upon us before we knew what was happening.
The thrill was over. Inside this adventure was various emotions along the ride taking each of us on this roller coaster into the depths of our greatest strengths and fears.
You leave a ride like this with your mind and your heart tested to it's limits, and you come out on the other side changed. These things are what makes a life abundant and filled with enough love to last a lifetime.
I really hope you like what you have become at this point in the Dinarland Saga. Each of us have changed, and the character we have developed along the way will lead us into the next ride of our life with greater wisdom than before.
Take this time to remember as much as you want, but take this time to also embrace what you have become. The golden ticket for this ride was torn in half when you entered it, but the real one always remains whole in the hearts of those who view the world through the heart of a child.
Never stop dreaming folks. You are about to see where they lead you in the days ahead. You will love how it ends.
