What if other people also care too much but you misinterpret it and their actions. And what if they think the same way you do about them about you?

Like

I’ve learned that in society people have many faces, and even if you spend a life time with them, you will never know which their true nature is.

Many don’t even know themselves.

The risk is always that we don't know our own selves.

Damn it, @eeks , this is a good question! Everybody tells lies, that's it. We all know it. But I think the size of the lies make the difference. And also, the reason behind it. I've always tried to be genuine. I feel some guilt when I tell lies.

Everyone does. :) But just food for thought. Most people are more like ourselves than we like to believe.

You're right and your comment made me think really hard about this. But how come as a group we can discern people who are fake from those who are not? I'm talking about collective thoughts.
Or is this collective mind influenced by society?
Anyway, these are the thoughts I've come up with after meeting with someone as described. Made me remember of all the times I've been put up in such a situation.
