"The reward of our work is not what we get, but what we become."- Paulo Coelho.
Img-Hassan.
Getting paid for our work is a good thing and it sure leaves a really good feeling and we will do whatever it takes to keep getting paid for as long as we can.
Money has become the central base of many and when they are not getting paid, they will never be caught working no matter how good the job is contributing to humanity.
It is really important that we do not allow the pursuit of material gains leave us blinded to the really important things in life. Money is good, but it never is the endgame. It is a means to an end but never the endgame.
Money is a tool and has never really been able to buy integrity or truth. When we juggle through life as we do, we get to learn first hand what matters and what matters is much more than money itself.
Do you know the money we all rush so much for has no real value but one that is backed by greed, blood of the innocent and criminal speculations?
If the a man makes $100 getting a job done in 30 days, how come he will not spend more time working to become better than a $100 paycheck grabber?
Become a man of importance based on your contribution to humanity than one that gathers more than is need per time.
Have you read The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho? You should really read that book.
The book is a somewhat twisted description of what life is truly about and how many miss the show because, they lack the ability to allow their efforts outlive them. It just shows what matter most times in life and that there is nothing better than truly following your path.
Put aside the desire to make money quickly because, it will not stay forever and when it ends, it ends in pains unexplained.
There is a reward that comes tied to what we do and it stays primed when we never allow that urge to make some easy money cloud our real sense of judgement.
The universe has a thing for men with courage who stick with integrity than with men with that insatiable urge to keep collecting money for every little thing they do.
Doesn't anyone ever have a thing for the things that last rather than for those that are here now and gone tomorrow?
The reward of our work is measured by what we become.
work kills time, time kills me
