The dark and light side of using the courts to find justice.
First up, a BIG step forward in the fight against Monsanto and glyphosate as hundreds of cases get the green light to take this massive poison peddling corporation to court.
Next up, water protectors Red Fawn Fallis and Michael Little Feather Giron have received harsh sentences for their efforts to protect water, land and people at Standing Rock in 2016. We sit down with the Water Protector Legal Collective to discuss updates on these cases as well as others.
@elanorgoldfield, This makes my heart ache. I have lived through "McArthyism" and the "J.Edgar Hoover" fiasco while growing up. I cannot state how badly this country has gone backwards in the last 40 years. Instead of "Consumer Protection" we now have "Corporate Protection" against lost revenues where the companies make to small a profit.
I did not serve for "This" country where the entirety of it is for sale to the highest offer. My family's blood was built into the foundations of this "Republic" and to see the ongoing Genocide of the first Americans continues to make me heartsick.
Thank you for your post and NEVER stop the good fight!
thanks for the post @mitch94541 - appreciate you sharing your thoughts and experiences.
this is outraging, my prayers go out to those who lost family members, body parts, and friends to the Oil Police in Dakota.
