How a Nonbeliever Changes - Life -Death - Reincarnation -How do You Feel? How do You Know? What do You Think?

Has anyone had any experience with mediums?

I was raised "rational" to worship the limits of five sense science and ridicule the subtler subjective experience.

I grew up believing when I die I will be worm food , which was still somehow preferable to being torched.
Even though I knew I would be dead, in that magical nothing, nowhere, no more place, FOR THE REST OF ETERNITY...
and as much as I was looking forward to the rest...
both options still flummoxed me.

I suppose really- they terrified me though I eventually began to see the equality and final peace it affords everybody and I grew okay with it.

When I was around 21 in 1992 a friend was sick and her Mum had a free ticket to a spiritual medium from the UK.
I had never heard of such a thing.
He was the master medium from some Psychic School.
He was giving a lecture to around 150 people about mediumship and then demonstrating his ablity to "channel" the dead.

The room was mostly full of old people as I guess theyre the ones most interested in where they might, or where their friends and loved ones might all be going....

I couldnt believe what I was seeing and thought he must have a team of people researching everyone.
When it was time for questions I asked "if this is real why isnt it on the news??

That got the biggest laugh of the day.

His readings/channelings/messages for many in the audience included my friends Mum, blew my mind and set me on a path of researching life death and reincarnation.

I paid between $30 and $80 per time to visit about twenty mediums over the next twenty years.
Seventeen times I wasted my money and got people who were trying, hoping, guessing, missing.
I realised mediumship is like hairdressing, massage, brain surgery or making croissants...It takes a lot of practice skill and talent and yet everyone has to practice on someone.

Three times I was connected with the spirits of the dead around me.
The private things shared are so personal, enough to make you deeply personally moved beyond your doubt, but not so on demand that you can ask for lotto numbers. Spiritual messages are more for our internal empowerment (heart, soul, courage) than our external power (money & stuff)

Everyone has different inborn sensitivities too.
Some kids are born like Mozart, some like Kanye.

Over the decades I have been open to all sorts of information about the other side.

I have read and watched a lot on kids who are born remembering past lives, places and names of people who really existed. You can suppose they are biased programmers selling an agenda but its in many cultures, from ancient times until now.

Only the ridicule of it, en masse is recent, by the scientific establishment and thus followed by the majority of others so terrified of being ridiculed. they´ll ridicule.

It changes everything. You know you´re never alone.
Always watched.
By unconditionally loving "related" ancestors and "other" beings who not only allow free will but encourage it.
Freaky Shit

I have a few times in my life connected in unexplainable ways with massage patients. Sometimes I can shock people by what I can "feel" I "know" that they think are "secrets".
When I have been up to my elbows in their flesh and guts and knots for an hour.

It´s not rocket science, but neither is rocket science ; )

As the years go by I have a few experiences a year where i feel close to someone passed over.
Sometimes personal subjective moments with my own loved ones, sometimes complete strangers somewhat objectively validated by living souls i meet in the supermarket, or friends when I share what i can tune into.

Its frustrating that its so rare, and uncontrollable but I do feel it is something worth attention.
In developing my personal self, I have meditated for decades, I have had mentors, sat in many psychic circles, done development courses, I have watched a lot of mediums on TV, read books, many are charlatans.
Some are self deluded. I guess we all are at times.

Some are set up to steer us all away from thinking deeper about the spirtual reality.

Some are genuine. Doing their best. Learning something that is recently relatively uncharted. Despite all our doubt and ridicule.

A few of my favourite mediums and inspirations are Kelvin Cruikshank

Kelvin is a shy fisherman introvert from NZ who battled alchoholism for many years trying to "quiet the voices". When he started to talk to the voices he started to help the police solve many murders, through spirit.

Monica Ten-Kate

This girl is young and wonderful and yes, of course it can be edited and pre-researched...
for those who understand pure mediumship is possible, this girl is very talented.

The qualities required to become a good medium seem to be

  1. Integrity and honesty
  2. Not judging but rather observing
  3. Personal strength and an ability to honour the self
  4. Life experience/maturity/philosophy

Once you have your own subjective proof, that people really exist in some tangible form after death, (even if at first you think its just some memory file of the universe that mediums tap into ).it changes and reinforms all existence.

The things mediums share are often in relation to the current moment, so that tries that theory.

The things mediums share are always loving, forgiving, profound, the highest and often unexpressed characteristics of the earthy being.

The true character of the person comes through and that is what validates internally for those who need the message.

My other favourite medium is Chris Stillar from Canada.
I reached out to him to pick his brains and we ended up having a good rave. In the clip at the beginning he converts a non-believer in under 15mins

The way my life is lived now is completely based on the knowing that I am the spirit, not the body
I have come to learn that the plan goes on and there is nothing to fear and no wrong turn.
This is an incredible gift of freedom from the way I was taught to think.

I live with no fear of death and I see how that manifests in the freedom to express all things.
To take on anyone. Uphold what is right. Its been a long, slow and windy road but im glad I decided to go along it.

Please leave any comments with your doubts or experiences of good or bad mediums I really wonder how many these days have been personally touched.

There are a lot of fake mediums around because it’s an easy con game. But like William James said, you only need one white crow to prove that not all crows are black. It would be nice if we could all acknowledge that this stuff isn’t “supernatural” in any way – it’s perfectly natural. It’s just that anyone researching it scientifically waves their credibility goodbye because they’re seen as “that supernatural guy”. I’d be curious to know if your experiences with ayahuasca impacted your beliefs at all?

Thanks @lensessions I like the quote about the crow. When you see a medium in the flow like these three working so naturally, there is no option for me but to accept it as an extension of ourselves that we´ve somehow had and lost. $cience has unfortunately lost most of its´cred with me in the last 12 months ; )
My experiences mostly all happened before I had tried aya, usually when i was either straight or stoned on weed sometimes
: ))))) Although when on it i felt that incredible interconnectivity that mushies also provide... i had some insights, lush visions and hallucinations lets say, but nothing concrete enough to make me think it would enhance it in me with more.
My experience connecting is its so fleeting, its like a scent on the breeze. I spend a lot of time watching mediums as I am trying to learn how to recognise that scent and sit in it a moment longer

I was a non believer... was... so many changes in my life and if I can say simply something is that we don't understant what surrounds us... even now...
Now I know that I know nothing ... I contact my ancestors my previous lifes... actually I moved away some time ago from that kind of experiences... I still do some things... nothing heavy compared what I used to do... just necessary when it's needed...
Ahh! I never made proffits of it...
Never ever assume that you understand this and other universes... I don't...
Hail Thee Holy Gods !!!
Regards!

thankyou @luisulfr for sharing, its a gift that comes for free we can afford to share it : )but i have no problem witth people who monetise it either. supply and demand
