Music Festival Safety: 5 Tips To Staying Happy And Healthy at Your Next Event

in #life7 years ago

Take these tips with you to your next event to help stay safe and keep the good vibes going!

  1. Meeting Point: It's a large event, there are a long of people, and lets face it, we are all in some way not sober, we tend to get disconnected from our groups. Before you get into your event, make a set meeting place in your phone, so if you get separated and loose service/phone dies, you have a place to re-connect with your group!

  2. Sun Screen: Most events allow you to take pre-package stuff and items that are still sealed into the event with you, so make sure to buy a couple mini sunscreens to take into the even with you each day! Nothing worse then looking back at music festival photos looking like a painful lobster!

  3. Chill/Take A Break: Being in the hot sun all day while dancing and having a great time under the influence, can take a huge toll on your body, be sure to find some shade to hang out in from time to time to let your body recoup!

  4. Watch Your Drink: Just like any large social gathering, you should watch your drink, and never accept a drink from someone you dont know! You run the risk of potentially being drugged or poisoned.

  5. STAY HYDRATED: Probably the most important safety tip of them all, drink water! Whether you are high on drugs or high on life, dancing in extreme heat for hours hankers for the need to keep hydrated!! Drink water and keep an it!
