Yes, well you and I agree on social media. It's become a very shallow replacement for what was once a real connection with people.
There are some people that are always asking the tough questions but they get labelled trouble makers.
Convenience - yes that's a huge problem because people have grown so lax these days that anything that is even vaguely uncomfortable becomes too much effort. Are we doomed? Yes, most likely. Luckily we probably won't be around for when it really gets bad, these are early days yet.
This would be the coasting stage. Society is on autopilot. Enjoying the comfort zone. Being pulled along. Thoughts are following a template. People don't steer away from it too much.
Take them out of that element and place them in this one; several seem to experience a bit of a culture shock.
