101 Ways to happiness - #40 True power in a few simple words

in #life7 years ago

The religion is present everywhere around us and especially now when it's around Christmas time. I don't go much in church, but I will always remember how interesting and special it was when our grandma took us with her when we were kids. The priests, in that time, still tried to be original and wrote their own Sunday sermons. And I heard many times, and it's written in the Bible, that we should love our neighbor like yourself. Which I must agree it's a bright commandment, which emphasizes how important is love to yourself and others around you. We have to love ourself and spread the love in a way we know best. Doesn't matter if we use words, music, creativity... just know that love has thousands of shapes and flows through thousands of channels.

I don't know why, but today I thought about it again. And I realized, that loving and accepting someone, who think and live like ourself is easy; we see us in them and the sympathy is in the air right away. But to love and accept someone, who lives, works, and thinks differently, that is a whole different story. But we must have in mind, that they are also our "neighbors".

The base of any religion is love. Christianity especially emphasizes, that we shall love and respect our neighbors, the ones who aren't so strong and happy, but especially the ones, who are less important; like many people believe, that in Heaven everything changes - the first will be last and the last will be first.

It's not specifically written anywhere, why we should love ourself, others, or why we should do good. It's a little sad conclusion, that we should just do so, and that everything will be reimbursed to us in Heaven. Can we really feel love if there are conditions in between? An emotionally mature person works according to the principle of his heart, his conscience, his soul - not for the final prize. A spiritual person loves himself not because he is "the creation of God," but because he knows that it is a particle of God in him; it is also a particle of God in every one of our neighbor, even though he seems to be bad.

Relationships are one of the most complex tasks that we solve in our lives. Mutual relationships are actually a valve through which we experience ourselves and everything that we hold within ourselves - in front of ourselves. Through mutual relations, we recognize ourselves, every external conflict shows the conflict that we hide from ourselves.

Today I will give you a few simple questions to ask yourself and later to think about it just a little like I did:

  1. Why do I behave in a way or another in contact with others?
  2. What do I tell people about myself with my behavior?
  3. What do I tell a person about himself with my behavior?
  4. What impact does my behavior have on the relationship (in the long run)?
  5. How can I change my behavior for the benefit of myself and for the people with whom I create relationships?

Get to know yourself through life. Get to know your mistaken beliefs, release the conflicts that you carry within yourselves and just work. For yourself, for others and for the world that needs you.

I love your photos today.....I want to crawl under that tree like I used to do as a child. And breathe in the wonderful smells of wood and snow and cold air. Beautiful photo. The second one is so dreamy and soft yet it looks very cold with the ice fog.

You certainly gave a lot to think about with this post.

Thank you for your detailed observation... I'm really glad you like my photos. On the second one is a small chapel by the road on the left. And the fog gives it real softness.

Yes great and beautifull place make me happy and great and honest parter is also the way to make me happy thanks for sharing dear
