Hello all,
I must admit this all feels a tad bit weird. I remember the first time hearing about this site, the concept of it all felt interesting. I wasn't sure (and still am not entirely) in regards to how it all works. One thing I am certain of however is the authenticity of many of these stories I have come across on here. I feel as though Steemit has its own sort of 'pureness' within the community.
I know what you're thinking... what is the point of this post?
I don't think there is one to be fair, however I hope that this post and any future ones of mine can relate to someone in some sort of way, a place for us to come together, tell our own stories and let our minds loose and free. That is one thing that has attracted me to Steemit, the fact you can type up whatever you may please and in response receive genuine constructive criticism and support. And therefore, it is only right that I tell you a little bit about myself...right?
Well, I am an individual who had to mature from a young age. Whilst others were out and about growing up with a beautiful childhood I was being nurtured in a way that had forced me to mature fast and think adult-like. Oh the days of Disney, Nickelodeon and so on, I don't know anything of these, I feel as though I'll end up writing a "13 Reasons Why" sort of chapter now. No worries, I won't haha I am a rather joyful person. With that being said, I do feel as though I've never truly felt happiness. Remember what I said earlier, 'I hope that this post and any future ones of mine can relate to someone in some sort of way', I never said this would all be happy clappy. It's all about keeping it real (as cringe as that may sound) which again is why I love this platform, essentially you tell people of your own experiences, they enjoy (or don't enjoy) the read and in return tell you theres. Well that's my part here anyway, I'm not really a fan of some of the categories found here. Though, we're all entitled to our own opinion (duh!)
One thing I have noticed from the way I describe things and speak and narrate certain events of my life, is that I write it out like a book, word for word with every aspect of detail included that would give me the feels upon reading back. It's rather scary to think about sometimes, imagine having to explain through SMS to a family member something catastrophic that has gone on in your life, only to come back across it a few months later and feel the exact same feeling because of how detailed it was. Well, with that you'd have probably notice I tend to baffle on a little more than I should. Something I need to work on without doubt. Anyway, enough of my rambling, whilst this may have been a short post and by no means of any value at all, it was fun to get it all out there and maybe you'll see something interesting from me in the upcoming days, or weeks...heck maybe never.
As you may have noticed by now, you'll learn more about a person like me through my writing rather than what it is I actually tell you, but again, you don't need to give a sheep about this all anyway heh. Oh, and I mention more random things that don't make sense but in the bigger picture it all fits together like a substantial puzzle.
Either way, as a random rambler of Steemit, and wannabe blogger (I kid) hello all! Nice to meet you, and please direct me towards the correct way because honestly this platform can be rather confusing as times. Either that or I'm over-complicating things and the user interface is purposely this basic. Eh, anyway...
Ciao.
