You can give a person knowledge, but you cannot make them think. Some people want to remain fools, only because the truth requires change.
~Unknown~
How true. I just stumbled across this quote, and it actually inspired me to write this post. It just says so much about the mind, and how we deliberately make the decision every time to restrict our efforts to stay 'safe'.
I think that quote can also perhaps resonate to this quote:
You can take a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink.
I know it could seem a bit of a weird example, but just think about it. We all get, in my opinion, an equal amount of opportunities throughout the span of your lives. Through the Law of Averages, we will all have great times, and we will all have terrible times.
With that being said.. Your destination is in fact not determined by your situation, but rather what you do about your situation. It is because of this very belief that I do not feel sorry for most people.
As sad, and possibly cruel as it may sound, I really don't care too much about a person's position. Look, then again, sometimes it's different.. But in the general sense of things, I cannot stand for people who enjoy feeling sorry for themselves. Moaning about their situation.
Here is the truth. Terrible things are going to happen to you. Guess what? That's life. My advice to you? DEAL WITH IT.
Just accept it, and hustle your way out of things. Why do I say this? Because I can say with confidence, that will-power can overcome almost anything. I don't think there are many things that can stop a person with true passion and heart.
So, how can you apply this to something like Steemit?
Look.. I understand some of you are not coming into this with my particular approach. I get that. So if you are just here to explore a bit, and have a nice time, then awesome! But me.. I cannot do anything in my life without at least attempting to making it great.
I am here to make an impact on other people's lives. So for that, I am coming in with a much harder-core approach. Everything I speak about in my articles, I experience. Where else would I get the ideas for my content.
My approach here is simple. I like to see what other people are doing, and see how I can creatively outwork those people. Keep in mind, I said 'simple', not 'easy'. This is by no means an easy task. For that, I do not expect anyone to do it. It's tough. It's a grind. For many of you, it's brutal. But for me, it's a huge passion. I cannot perform in anything without a challenge. If I do not have something to strive for, then I just get bored very quickly and move on.
So I would say that Steemit is fantastic because it is still an untapped bucket of ideas. There are so many things that haven't been tried yet. So for that reason, I think bringing creativity and true passion into this platform is an incredible investment.
More than how much my posts can make, I care far more about getting my content in front of newer faces. So if you would like to show your appreciation, you can share this with others!
I want this blog to be a happy, motivated place where you guys are free to engage and say whatever is on your mind. A place where if you have something on your mind, no matter how dramatic it may be, you can feel free to speak. Resteems are appreciated!
I reward good resteems and comments! I would love to know what's on your mind. Be bold and talk to me in my comments section! I would to know your opinion and what it is you'd like to achieve. I am trying my best to make 2 high quality blog posts per day. So stay tuned!

Awesome post with a nice structure. Glad to have found someone on steemit who does not cry about Trump and encourages others to act like men, To stop crying and to start getting it.
If you really think about it: The people want equality because it makes them equal with everyone else, with other words equal with the winners too.
They want this because they are lazy losers who don't want to put in the work.
Real men work their fucking ass off to get what they want and they don't cry about it.
And it absolutely disgusts me that crying sensitive men are seen as virtues in our dumb, weak and effeminate society.
What pisses me off more than most is seeing how mothers and fathers encourage they daughters to be strong and their sons to be pathetic doormats.
Or with other words, your post is a breath of fresh air for me.
If you want to hustle together just let me know, I am looking for people who want to make serious money here on Steemit and generally online for themselves instead of for their bosses.
Lol...
You really talk down to earth sir..
I love your vibes.
Thank you Samuel.
Agreed my man!!
Amen to that my man! Thanks for that.
Whooo bro you catching flames here :D Love it!!
Love this comment. Thanks for your efforts. You're awesome! I'm glad you got some motivation :)
Thank you too! You earned a follower.
Sweet! :D Thank you very much. Stay tuned.
Kick ass home slice.
I think you and I are more alike than we both know. When I do something, I go full board, balls to the wall with a 'never say die' attitude. I don't believe in simply 'trying', like Yoda - Do or do not. Great post man.
On a side note, I really dig those sweet red break lines with the steem icon inbetween your paragraphs, meant to say something the other day about it. Nice touch.
Woah nice one brother! I like your attitude :)
I appreciate your kind words about my designs :) Thank you!
I'd ask to borrow em, but don't wanna be a copycat lol! Good branding man.
Hahaha thanks man. What do you want to borrow? That thumbnail I just made for you? Or what? :P
That's awesome you rock!
You can give a person knowledge, but you cannot make them think. That's true. So, in conclusion: Steemit is NOT for lazy people.
You're awesome. Thanks for another great post!
Thanks for that, Jessy :) You're more awesome!
Yes. I pretty much did say that this is simply not for lazy people :D
Yea... I agree with you sir
A lot of persons want the fish and do not really care how the fish caught.
I personally wanted to throw in the tower to the tide of change especially when i was not getting the kind of result i wanted .
But at the dawn of the day in had to distinguish myself from the norm and upgrade my thinking.
I truly improved within the last three days in my writing skills and thinking
Steemit is mind expanding indeed
WOW, well said my friend :) That is true indeed!
You have a great way of writing man! Keep it up :)
I hope to see you soaring here soon!! Stay awesome.
your colourful and informative post is a real winner - you might like to know i dig up money from the ground by prospecting for sapphires - i have dug up hundreds of carats of gem quality stones, and i sell them below wholesale for $200 a carat slowly without advertising. Fun fact - i am 10 kilos over weight
Thanks for that! I'm glad you like it all my man!

Your post challenged me to strive for more.
Opportunities come but it's up to us to grab them. Don't just watch them pass by.
Thanks for giving us thoughts to think but it's up to us to act on them.
Cool, can really see your branding there @enazwahsdarb. I had yet to have my own branding in Steemit, just concentrating on content making at the moment. But ya, the process is a grind and not all can make it to the end. For those who can hustle, I think there will be gain along the journey as well as at the end of the road. We never know how Steemit will become in near future. Things change too fast.

The day of man is full of trouble is confirmed by Bible. So people encounter issues of life. However, there is need to rejoice with those who rejoice and mourn with those who mourn. It is also biblical.

if i could... after all we are all humans, ie, so many times we see that the results of an effort are not what we had imagined... whether good or bad.. although our effort should be sincere. i mean we shouldnt just put in our best..... we must also LEARN the best. ....

Hard-word pays definitely. But i will also say that the hard work should come with smart ideas to be success because i know people who work really hard but don't get much from it because they are involved in the wrong job.

Nice. For most people doing is probably easier than thinking. I think most people would be better of if they accept that the world is not fair, and that it does not own you anything. Creating your own reality. Have you read about stoicism btw. Very inspiring philosophy of life:)

@enazwahsdarb I started reading your post like 5 hours ago and did finish it around this time. It's not because your post is long or hard to comprehend, but I got lot of notifications from the group I created yesterday. We already have 80+ members on that group. We are newbies in steemit and others wanted to learn the full or most of the system of steemit before joining. Need to response to their inquiry as fast as I could and did create useful post for them in our group. Hopefully, I, together with them, will successfully create a mighty group.
I shared the part 1 of this post and they love it. They were amaze how ones weakness, when shared, can give hope and strength to others. They said that you are not sure if others could learn from your mistake but they told me that they learned something from your post. So I told them that you are a good person and they should follow you here in steemit so they could learn more from you Zane. 😊
Been mentoring online for years now, and I must agree with this quote. This is the main reason why I no longer volunteer to teach someone. I just sit, learn, seek for my own mentors, and apply the things that I need to learn. I only appear to people who seek my help.
And I'm with you. People needs to deal with their problems. Accept that there is a problem and immediately find for a solution. Self-pity and always thinking of the problem won't help. It only hinders you to do awesome things.
As always, thankyou, Zane for making awesome posts. Whether you like it or not, you're one of my mentors now😂😂😂. Talk to you on your next post.😉
Mehn, I can relate to this, it's just like " Instead of giving fish to a man, teach him how to fish" I appreciate u man
I think this part is as good as the first. I just love these words "You can take a horse to water, but you can not make it drink"
