Yes happiness is a choice one of the simpliest there can be. But the problem is simpliest things as they sound can be really the hardest. But about happiness it is really state of a mind you choose so that is the emotion in your head you control and decide if you want it or no. People think things around us dictate our level of happiness which is not completely true. They can modify us in different ways but the choice is always in the individual
I agree with you. Happiness depends on everyone. Each person's happy rate is different too. When someone has a car, he is happy. But another one, when not having a car he remains happy. Because for him the car is not makes him happy. Maybe simplicity makes him happy. So it all depends from the perspective of each individual. We just only choose.

Yes man exactly! This is the biggest prove happiness is choice and not as some think determinated condition
But remember, the things mentioned above can bring happiness. There is no happiness in evil, it is false happiness, not real happiness. Because man is in fact created with a good condition.
