I would not go into arguing is Dtube gr8 or it sux.
But what holds me from doing more posts there is dTube's resolution.
Is 480 the maximum possible resolution on dTube?
Or I just am doing something totally wrong?
I went over maybe 100's of videos from various authors, and I could not find even one single clip above 480.
Shall I trust this is normal? In the age of 4K and more ?

You can click “view source “ I think, as long as they have uploaded it in a higher resolution. I go no lower than 1080

I used my best computer skills, but just do not find it.
Even on my own post, where I know I have uploaded it in 1080p
Just looking now but I can’t see the feature anymore, it used to have a drop down menu to select the quality and one of the options was “view source”

I finaly find it. The 480 line is clickable. Those who designed this UI probably are doing it the first time in their life.

@berniesanders being butt hurt over name calling??? Now I've seen everything.
I don't care what berniesanders say's however it is very difficult for me to upload videos on there, I don't have a camera and so i use my phone and the process of uploading a video on there is constant trial and error. There are bugs and errors that pop up when i'm trying to upload, then if those are fixed the videos come out upside down or the wrong rotation.
If Dtube can fix these issue's then the Alexa rankings will fix themselves, if not then it isn't worth it to be using Dtube.

I'm not really interested in the flag war argument, but dTube does have a long way to go. I'm sure it's great for those who can use it and get their upvote from the big dTube delegation, but there are a lot of people accessing the Steem blockchain on mobile devices only, who can't use it. I'm glad I can at least view dTube videos now (mostly), so that's an improvement. I couldn't view dLive at all, so their leaving was no loss to me.
I know a lot of dTube users love and support it as the alternative to YouTube, but perhaps take the criticisms as something to work on and build on rather than something to get upset about. I'd love to see them rival YouTube, but they are a long way off that at the moment.
