Monday January 8th was the day I did something that I’d call stupid, crazy, and interesting. From that point up to today actually, I’m going on a juicing diet. I’ve been recording some footage but also giving some updates on Facebook about it as well. Not to mention making a few Instagram stories too.
But I want to focusing on the essence of this action.
For one this is the first time I’ve done anything like this and I have to admit this is the first time in a long time that I feel rather nervous.
At the beginning of all this I thought “this is stupid, how will I get through this? I love food way too much.” But the further I went through this and made little clips of me talking about this process, the more that I got into it.
The more that I wanted to follow through with it, but also sell myself on the idea that this can work and make a huge impact on my life.
The drinks I had weren’t anything fancy, they were simply shakes that my Dad has for his weight loss as well. I went with those as I knew doing an actual juicing diet would put my body into shock.
So even though it’s watered down, I still think it’ll be effective in washing out my system.
Anyway I’m getting off track a little.
My main point is that even though you might think that something is stupid, or crazy, it never hurts to try it. Life is an experiment. Hell even our bodies are wired differently. How we think to what sort of foods work for us varies.
When you think about it that way the less crazy some things actually are. Furthermore they can turn into really exciting adventures where you learn something.
Even the stupidest ideas in the world can be revolutionary.
This is the first time I’ve done a juicing diet. Mind you it’s watered down, but I still made it interesting for myself. I used this opportunity to challenge myself in ways I’ve never done before.
It is in that sort of light where this bold move is actually a powerful step forward to who I want to be in my life.
Not only that, but by doing something like this, even if the results don’t turn in your favour, there is still a lot to be gained. I mentioned above that I felt nervous and insecure about this dramatic shift in my diet.
That’s a good point to remember because it means you are stepping into unknown territory and that you are unsure of how things will go.
This is important because everyone gets the impression that experts are these know-it-all beings. That people who are publishing their work and sharing ideas are these intelligent individuals.
Not every person is like that. In fact, I believe in order to be considered an expert you need to first admit that you know nothing at all. That’s part of learning. The more that you learn and know, the more that you do not know.
So it is during this time where experts need to be vulnerable and it helps to attract followers as well as other people. It tells them that experts, or people with a larger understanding are humans as well.
So as much as this idea is stupid and some people may be saying it, I’m proud about it. I did something that is really out of my comfort zone and gained more understanding.
To your growth!

If you had not made the decision to try even though you felt nervous about it, you would not have had all this experience to give us.
It all starts with a decision to try no matter how crazy or impossible you think it may be.
Thanks for this
you are so right Janet. I love how you think ;)
That's exactly what I was thinking. No problem! :)
cheers! ;)
