If you are, or have been, in sales you understand that there are no days off. I live in TN, and we were recently slammed with a ice and snow storm. We are usually unprepared for this type of weather in this region, and everything shuts down. I was surprised when the owner of the car dealership I work at called to let me know that we were shutting down for the day. I decided to take a trip to the Hatchie Wildlife Refuge, also known as the "bottoms" to the locals.
This is O'neil Lake. It's a trip down memory lane every time I stop by. I spent my childhood at this lake. I don't get to see it very often, but when I get the chance it's always great!
This is a flooded field that is always full of duck and geese that are migrating. It's a sanctuary, and no hunting is allowed.

This is a wood duck box. They are placed all over the Hatchie Refuge to provide a safe place for wood ducks to nest.
These are the thick woods that surround the Hatchie Refuge. Timber is also protected in this area.
This was my sleigh for the day. It's a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, and it did a wonderful job!
