This is a late afternoon shot of the Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park in Sedona, Arizona.
This true gem is hidden within a maze of small roads weaving through the vivid, otherworldly landscape of the red rock desert.
Whenever I find my soul wobbling out of balance or worrying I close my eyes and imagine this peaceful place.
Considering the sea of red in the crypto market lately, I’ve been imagining this place more and more. 😊These days of red are days that we should refocus on the simple things. The fate of the market is out of our hands but how we live and enjoy each moment surely isn't.
How are you staying sane during this epic market downturn?
Image is original, shot with an iPhone 5.
Focus on simple things and always make a good choice. I think the encryption market will improve soon.
@ericvancewalton I'm very worried about the crash of cryptocurrencies, especially since it affects compensation here on the platform, a luxury that I can not afford since I live from it.
This meditation technique is very good to find the balance between the body and the soul, an image undoubtedly ideal to do so
Thank you very much for teaching us your beautiful photography and your meditation techniques
I wish you a great day
I can definitely sympathize with you @jlufer! Things are recovering nicely now, there's much more green in the market. With the positive announcements regarding SMTs I think we'll see Steem regain previous levels and, hopefully, surpass them. Have a great Friday!
Great place to be at and a nice peaceful shot have a great time ahead :) and chill during the market down is the only way to go
love to god
@ericvancewalton, you are a great rolemodel for being able to find peace in almost all situations. I envy you for that. I know that whenever I need a break from it all, you usually know what to say and recommend to calm me down.

Thanks @vangfo. The years teach you that there's not too much that's worth getting upset over. It's great to see some green today in the market. Let's hope it builds all the way to Sept 30th and the SEC makes the proper decision!
excellent perspective @ericvancewalton!
Thanks @natureofbeing!
Meditation is very helpful for mind peace, when crypto market is going down . Haha
This is nice place for meditation
Good shade of afternoon light in pic .
Buddhism is a path of peace

resteem.. thank you enjoyed this post. makes me want to travel out there.
Thank you! It's such a peaceful place. I could easily spend a few months there. The hiking is amazing too.
that sounds so nice. :)
A great photo, my friend, and it's always nice to remember something significant at a time when the markets are in the red zone and I also try to switch my mind to constructive thinking. Of course it is not easy to observe this situation in the markets, our life always has a black strip and white, so I believe that the white band will come soon and it strengthens my spirit! Thank you, Eric.

Perfect click of stupa in peace park . Is this buddha statue ?
This is really peaceful sir and i love the way the sun kissed the earth.
This is beautiful and i wonder how you always capture moments like this and make them right.
I love this sir:
Am staying sane by keeping quiet in hunger, for those of us whose life revolve round the crypto world, hunger in the stomach, money on crypto market place, no one dares withdraw.
I love the red colour in the picture, its common to see such here in the evening, in some months, the budha statue also add some artistry to it. Taking nite of the postion you are while taking the picture.
Well it sure fits the current condition of us ;)
While this scenario is sure gonna pass soon ;)
Lovely shot by the way !
you're definitely right, this place makes it easy to remember the redness of the market as well and apart from that it definitely looks like a Buddhist temple in Bali or India brilliant sunshine Eric. This is totally brilliant, the angle of the shot is heavenly
Looks cool, I didn't know there would be a stupa park in the states. Do you have any links to its origin?
All the best and greetings from Cape Town
It's pretty amazing. Here's a link to their website - https://www.tara.org/stupas/sedona-arizona/
Cool cool cool, thanks a lot :)
Hahahahahahaha. It's good that you have a place to hide from so much uncertainty, @ericvancewalton. You see a religious and beautiful space. Since I live by the sea, when I am worried or stressed I go to the sea and smell and listen to it. That calms me down a lot! Those mechanisms we have to keep moving forward and full of energy. A hug
There's no better place to go than the sea @nonechangeles. We try to make it to the ocean at least once per year.
I like that idea, @ericvancewalton. Find a space that gives you the balance you need to be able to breathe and move on. As well as a hug, a meal, find a space that fills us with energy and makes us feel light. These days, with the fall of the steem we will not only need to visualize the space, we would have to go to disconnect ourselves. Fröhlicher Dienstag
So true, @nancybriti! There is so much to be thankful for, even when the market is down.
Excellent photography my dear friend and your photography are like a professional writer
What an unbelievable shot @ericvancewalton! I have friends living in Phoenix, but I need to Google how far away that is from Sedona. This place looks amazing!
As for the markets, I am hoping to see them in a sea of green soon! Really soon! fingers crossed
Thank you @ilsaione! We fly into Phoenix when we go to Sedona. It's about a 2-3 hour drive north and is totally worth the trip!
@ericvancewalton Thanks for saving me the time for looking that up! I bet you have all kinds of beautiful photos from all of your trips!
uff man what a great capture of lord buddha 🙏😇
@ericvancewalton
Amazing photography! Actually, the stupa is one in all the oldest types of sacred design on earth, geological dating back to the time of Gautama, 2600 years agone. Stupas area unit largely found within the East, wherever Buddhism 1st took root and flourished. they're so rare within the West. A stupa is taken into account to be the living presence of Gautama and in and of itself represents the Mind of Enlightenment. Stupas are engineered to avert war, end famine, and promote prosperity and well-being. Their sole purpose is to bring profit for all living beings, and therefore the mystical accounts of the healing powers of stupas area unit well documented.
This really got me excited!
