I can't speak for everyone, but I have to get something off my chest.
Since I got back on Steemit after taking a 10 month hiatus, I have been on hot-and-heavy.
on my stream last night, my entertainment budget is offset by my usage of DLive.Sure, I have been busy, sure, @DLive takes up most of my free time. But you know what? As I was telling @johnspalding
I believe in the platform, I believe in Steemit, and at the very least it has SAVED me money by consuming content rather than paying money elsewhere.
I believe in the platform. DO YOU?
Put your money where your mouth is and pledge to BUY Steem and power up in increments. I am currently buying $25 a week, what do you pledge?
Are you here for what you can TAKE OUT from your rewards, or what you can POWER UP to show other members that you support them?
I know what I choose. Let me know your choice.
Irrelevant photo: But I love it.

oh months ago when steem dropped i bought 1000 sp when steem was 3 usd. Now it it almost one usd, sadly i can not buy... But sure for those like mw ho can not buy, i mean you can still post, communicate and everything. Just have to do things and do not be lazy
Awesome post! It was great to be on someone else's stream for once. I love powering up. I would definitely rather engage with folks on this platform than other social media outlets.
powering up for me. i have been ‘trying’ to dollar cost average my investment and get at least 25-50 steem power a week. seems to be going well but when steem prices dip.....i end up spending more and buying more lol

Hahaha! I figured I bought most of my Steem when it was at $0.15. I sort of feel that as much as Steemit and @DLive has done for me it is the least I can do. I mean, I am entertained on this platform and anywhere else I would have to pay for it (or sell all my personal info).
oh man. 15 cents. i woulda went broke lolol

I arrived on Steemit to write articles and get as much money as I can from it... After 15 days, I realized what is Steemit and I decided to take as less as I can from my wallet.
To this day, I still didn't take anything from it, I just exchanged my SBD to STEEM, and will continue to do so. So, everything I earned on Steemit is still in my wallet and I really like that fact :D
I just wish I have more FIAT to turn into STEEM :(
When things were booming earlier this year I used portions of my rewards to upgrade my streaming equipment as well as raising the funds to make the DLive meet up. As much as I hated to sell I am glad I did to have what I have now (next purchase, computer!).
If you buy something that will create better content on Steemit, then it's worth it.. I bough my PC last christmas so I'm goodm but I need other things... In time...
That is my justification for any I sell (besides promotion)
Very nice. I agree with you, I need to find a way to put some more into Steemit. In the past, I have been hesitant to invest any outside money into Steemit because I wanted to make my account grow organically. I think now as I step back I need to remember that it isn't just about me and investing in Steemit is more about helping others than helping myself. Very thoughtful post!
Thank you, @bozz. For me it is a simple math equation. Do I spend more or less money in my entertainment budget? Fact is I don't go out as much and overall I waste less money because of it.
I just take the money I save and use it to delegate or hand out bigger upvotes :)
Very cool!
nice old pic
I haven't bought anything in a while now (because I can't afford to) but when I first came here I invested at least 50$ monthly and more whenever I had a chance. Altogether I bought 1000 Steem. Rest I've earned through my activities on the blockchain.
