So at different points in time of our lives we all have
our tunnel experiences. The tunnel experience is characterized by weeping, anger, feeling to give up on life, total sadness. We get so clouded by the turn out of events that we fail to realize that it's all an illusion but the light at the end of the tunnel itself is not an illusion. The tunnel seems there but really it is not there.
It is only a wall that surrounds us clouds our mind with so much darkness that we barely can see what's ahead. Yes it stops us a lot of times from believing that there is light not to talk of believing that the light is close. Really I have stopped to think about it and I realized that what a tunnel experience requires from us is Faith. It only takes our hearts to believe that it can be better than this. Faith in the seemingly impossible, Faith that there is light even though I don't see it, Faith that things can only get better. Our Faith keeps driving us forward even when it supposedly looks like all hopes is lost.
I personally have had a number of tunnel experiences in life and I have learnt to trust God above it all, trust his word for my life which has been a true anchor for me.... No wonder scriptures say in Psa 30:5b weeping may endure for a night, but joy [cometh] in the morning.
Victory lies ahead for us only if we believe. Good evening.
