Today I woke up to more red markets.
STEEM and SBD are around $1.65 and BTC around $7500.
I'm still very happy with the decision I made to sell crypto into Fiat on the big uptrend that we had.
It has provided me with a buffer against these swings.
Crypto is now slowly reaching my baseline I have set to buy back in.
But it's not there yet.
It's a patient game.
When it comes to my STEEM investment nothing has changed much really since it came down from $8. (besides the payouts maybe)
I never had the intention to sell my STEEMPOWER at $8 and I feel no different at these prices.
I believe STEEM is one of the best projects in the space.

Bitcoin is just playing hide and seek with us. I bought it very high and now waiting very patiently to go up.
Yes, steem would be one of those investments which we all will like and happy about. I will say, we all should at least wait for SMT's to lauch because that is going to be a bang moment for steemit.
Selling Steem now would be the worst decision ever.
Once the bear market shifts and SMT's are released, Steem will 10x where it's at (just my opinion, of course).

Well we all know what goes down will come back up, most things anyway. SBD and STEEM should soon enough and until then we just chill and wait and keep working hard at getting our posts out for everyone to enjoy.

I have no plans of powering down because I'm seeing steem as a long term investment. Just taking advantage of this plunge or just not converting your SBD to fiat is the best option these days. ^^

I see. Yes, I remember the good days: 1 SBD = 2.5 Steem.
I think at some point it was even 1 SBD = 10 STEEM. But that didn't last long.

I agree that it is a patience game. When it comes to investing you should buy low and sell high. But the problem is that people get scared. Control your fear and greed.

I've just started buying on average so it's a little scary watching the price go down each day. although I get that it's the long term average that counts.
The only way to get used to it is to be in the game so I have to take a deep breath and keep playing!

I agree with you about posting at your normal rate regardless of the STEEM price now.

Problems are relative. Snakes and Rats are worse than mice etc. The prices will jump when the market has dropped to an unknown bottom. Thanks for your strategy.

It was really smart of you to move some funds into fiat. I did the same a couple of months ago. It will work out somehow for all of us.
I think next up move is something 14$ steem ...
the first year was 4.20$ .... At the end of the second year was 8.20....
And this year is steem... I think it is 14$.. or 15$ something the highest rise.
I would like to understand a little more about this world, I may be confused when I always read experts about a rise for this month and what follows is a drop that doesn't stop, but seeing the calm in the experts (or at least that's what they reflect) makes me feel calm.

I believe in steem and in the blockchain, so I will stay and put energy and time in. I trust it will pay out for sure. It could be little at this moment, but it is just a start from something very Big!
The 8 dollar days will be back, and then i will have such a fat vote i grew with the cheap steem i got now.

I’ve always been more of a long term investor. I’m just using these opportunities to load up steem. Warren Buffet always said to buy when most are fearfully and be fearful when most buy.

This is the time to actually be patient. Though I do not have bitcoin yet but will keep the little steem I have and buy some more in due time, things will surely get better.

It's always advisable to maintain a sustainable amount of Fiat for times like this. Those of us without any other source of cash flow have been hit real hard.

I too invested $1500 but i am in huge loss. Now i left only $400 but i don't want to sell even a single coin and i know that it will worth more than $4500.
It just matter of patience, Right time to buy and Right time to sell.

The current position of btc is very bad. It's making no sense how much down it actually may go
In this downtrend the only thing to do is to hustle...and not read a too much news spreading FUD :)
