Getting a late night milkshake with Bianca and her niece.

Yesterday we went out for a drive around town with Bianca and her niece.

Halfway we decided to get a milkshake.

We ended up in a shop where they probably had every flavour known to man.

They mix soft ice cream here with a colouring/flavour mixture.

It taste great if I'm honest.

I had my usual Banana shake and Bianca and her niece had Guava and Chocolate.

Again the prices keep surprising me.

3 milkshakes (1x500ml, 2x 300ml) cost us 16 Real ($3,80 USD).

And remember these prices or for getting something a little more special.

At home we just eat rice and beans with chicken that we bought in the supermarket.

5kg rice = 12 Real ($2,90) and 5kg beans = 20 Real ($4,80).

It's easy to see that even if you eat a mountain of Rice and Beans it will last you for a very long time.

Excellent photos, my friend and you are right, for this assortment and quite acceptable prices, these cocktails give a double enjoyment and besides, all the rest of the food is not very expensive and it's great! A great opportunity to enjoy this advantage. Well done! Thanks Mark

You know something dear @exyle, that you will still be surprised with everything you consume there, for the prices in this part of the world, they will always be cheaper and easier to obtain, it is good that you have enjoyed your drink, I hope you continue to spend your days much better.

I think thats very genuine price wise.
Milkshake late night tastes excellent.
Enjoy your time

Blimey. I'd be there all night trying to choose a flavour @exyle. Although guava and chocolate does sound nice! 😁

Haha. I was so confused I just went with my favourite. Banana. Although there might be something better hiding there on that board!

I'n sure there must be something better @exyle. It could take you a while to find it though, given all the choice there is. 😁

Wow! That certainly is a lot of flavors. Usually when it comes to shakes I am a pretty simple guy. Strawberry, Vanilla, or Chocolate is good enough for me. The one that the ladies got sounds interesting for sure though. I am not a fan of banana flavored things, but it sounds like you really enjoyed yours! Glad you found a great place to get a treat for a good price!

Haha. nothing wrong with sticking with the basics. Banana is a basic milkshake flavour in the Netherlands too. I had a taste from Bianca's milkshake but preferred mine.

Forget rice, beans, and chicken....
Spend it on ice cream!
:)

That's cheap @exyle, and definitely gonna fill you up for a week, or even weeks!

By the way, enjoy Brazil and safe travels! 😀

My pantry is stocked and full of beans and rice. And like this ice cream shop having every flavor of ice cream imaginable.. my pantry has EVERY dry bean imaginable. Northern, pinto, black, lima, red, kidney (light and dark) and on and on... one can never be too sure of being too prepared.

Rice and beans are so much healthier (and versatile) for dinner menus too; plus they can be stretched for every budget.

Yeah, after meeting Bianca I have become a huge fan of rice and beans. Very awesome stable food.

Looks like a fun outting! It's cool you could think about living near Bianca's family if you wanted to stretch your dollar a bit more. But, i am curious if the area is safe and if the political environment is peaceful? I think many ppl live in that country. It brings to mind the turmoil going on in Nicaragua & Venezuela. I hope it's much different where you're visiting.

Here it's pretty safe. I felt less safe in Sao Paulo although nothing happened and I might have been influenced by all the robbery stories. There is no turmoil here yet like Nicaragua or Venezuela.

Spongebob seems popular there for some reason.

I noticed that too! I wonder if they paid royalties for the images :)

Wow, so many flavours. Mmm guava, in my country they are called Guayabas, I love guayabas

The cost of living for many countries are very high compared to the 1st world countries so it is really understandable that you get surprised about the prices @exyle

very nice. we should must give importance to our friends@exyle

Shakes are interesting to rejuvenate you. They fresh your mood too. Which other shakes you like ? @exyle

It's easy to see that even if you eat a mountain of Rice and Beans it will last you for a very long time.

That’s a great idea. Maybe it’s a good idea to start stacking food like this. You never know and it doesn’t go bad for a long time.

Late night fun awesome time spent :D

In most Latin American countries rice and beans. It is super filling and counts as a complete protein for diets. How do they eat their rice and beans in Brazil? We eat ours mixed together in a dish called gallo pinto (spotted rooster) and serve it with a ranchero sauce and sour cream or cream cheese on the top. Usually served with eggs, soft cheese, fruit and tortilla.

buy me a One milkshake please hahaha

I also like milkshakes very much ,because it's too yummy, and when u getting it in night , it's tested more yummy and delicious.. and hope you really enjoyed it .
