What a great place London is.
Even a 24:00 at night the city is still bursting with activity and even the shops are open. If you compare that to the city were I live or even Rotterdam it couldn't be any different. In my city for instance all the shops are closed after 18:00.
The place were Ezzy lives is amazing. It's 20 minutes from central London so it's pretty calm and relax. But he lives close to the Metro (or tube as they call it here) that takes you to central London in 20 minutes.
Yesterday we waited for Rea to get home from work to go to Central London with all of us.
It was great for me. I talked with @ezzy the whole time waiting.
I did learn a horrible thing about him while talking. He doesn't drink beer :O (aka No beer in his house.)
A trip to the shop was in order.
I felt much better :)
They had a nice selection of special beers too. I grabbed this one. Awesome beer with a long finish.
When Rea got home we went to the Tube. They have a card here called Oyster. You charged it with money and you can use it on all the public transport.

When you get out the Metro you see this. The famous Piccadilly Circus.
This is the tallest man that ever lived. Ripley's believe it or not. I'm 2 meters tall myself.
For dinner @ezzy and @rea took us to Flat Iron. I loved there menu. They serve just one thing! Steak.

WOW! That was good steak!
After dinner we went for a walk around the Centre
Rea is Chinese and she taught me how to say my opening blog line in Chinese. China Town was the perfect place I guess to say it.
We are having so much fun. Two more days of this to look forward to!

London looks amazing and so incredibly modern with so much to do. Thank you for posting the pictures. It's a place we've discussed making a trip across the pond for to take a family vacation to because of it has so much to see and do. I showed the picture of the Harry Potter building to my 2 oldest girls and now they really want to go, lol. They both love Harry Potter and have read all the books.

Yeah, that guy you're staying with. I met him at the Steemfest and he refused to drink a beer even there. I keep telling him to just chill out and enjoy! So here's a secret I found out... I got him a Malibu and coke. He seemed to really like it, lol! So that's his first step. The next one is to get the beers down him.. I know we can get him there. :)

Stella is quite good. It has quite a bit of bitterness in that beer. I am really interested to try that Tea beer you had. I think I might have had something similar before from a microbrewery beer maker that slightly tasted like it was like Earl Grey tea beer in that it was a bit floral.

I've never been, but London sure looks like my kind of city (the kind that never sleeps)! And being just outside of the city, but still within easy reach by transit, really is ideal; @ezzy sure is fortunate!
But once you've had flat iron steak at a restaurant named Flat Iron, what can you go back to eating for dinner without being at least somewhat disappointed?

Very nice post @exyle sir, really cool photographs, central london is a beautiful place for spent time. The streets of central London are so clean and clear and the food looks also so yummy and delicious. @rea also does a marvelous job to taught you some Chinese also.

In London it is always busy with the hustle and bustle of the morning commuters and then the rich wild night life with many clubs open as well as the constant supply of shoppers walking the floors of London and splashing some cash on their stay there.
Pretty cool how Ezzy lives so close to Central London. The tube services in London I think are one of the best excpect for during the night where you have some drunk people urinating and spilling alcohol everywhere. So it turns into some sort of a public toilet during the night from time to time but thankfully not always haha
Great to see you are treating yourself during this time away in London. You can't torture yourself and not have a good meal and a drink while you are away with some friends.
No offence but the Chinese segment towards the end sounds something pretty robotic and canny like something from google translate. However, I couldn't do any better if I tried my hardest @exyle haha! :)

You seems to have so much fun sie @exyle. London is always on my traveling list and have one of the best architecture among all cities I want to visit. The city is so neat and simple. By the way, within one day, you have visited a lot of places. From shopping to fancy eating :)

Here in Geneva too, shops close at 18-19 o'clock pretty inconvenient tbh! Lol'ed at the beer's name... only the english can find a way to call a beer TEA :D

Great picutes and a great steak. Good to know where you can eat in a foreign city. This is worst thing to find a good place for a good price. This can take several days. :-)
