The blockchain does not lie and that sucks.
When I wrote a month ago that I was going to start Steemfat 3 a month from the moment I wrote it felt like a very long time.
I can now say. It's not.
It's already here.
I came back from London on Monday and started Steemfat 3 yesterday straight away.
I have some trouble getting started. I can tell you that. (my body is complaining).
For some reason, it's always easier to make promises for in the future than to actually carry them out :)
Oh, and for those who don't know what Steemfat 3 is.
It's my journey, with up and downs, to get in shape.
Sometimes I win and Sometimes I lose.
I knew what was coming after London so in London I indulged. A lot...
I believe that when on holiday you should never have any restriction that gets in the way of (food) fun.
But to give you an idea of what transpired
Thai food
Full English breakfast and TGI Friday
Sushi (home-made by @rea)
And this is just the tip of the iceberg.
I loved it so much.
My body too! It decided to store all of it in my moobs and belly that are now bigger than ever.
So, enough is enough. And a promise is a promise.
I'm getting back on the wagon and I started yesterday.
I wanted to make new progress pictures but decided to wait a week or two because no NSFW tag covers my current state.
The start is always the hardest but I'm motivated.
The gym awaits tomorrow for the first but definitely not the last time this year.
I am a witness with our developer group @blockbrothers for the Steem blockchain. If you want to support us I would appreciate your vote here.
We build Steemify a notification app for your Steemit account for iOS.

Those dishes are nice.
But exercise is not nice but essential.
Glad you know what need to be done and action is your middle name.
keep on steemit.
There is big myth that says "eating fat makes you fat", it doesn't actually..eating fat makes you fuller sooner hence your stomach feel full most of the time, but eating sugar makes you hungrier sooner... So, to successful start Steemfat 3, you must first give up sugar from your diet. BTW Food pics looks awesome. Today, i also cooked one of my favorite dish in my blog.
I'm not sure. I seem to be able a lot of fatty food before I'm full :). I checked out your post looks great man!
Thanks! Highly appreciated....
And in particular, eating fat earlier in the day seems better for your body.
Yes I agree, you should check out full keto or LCHF. Most of the stuff in those delicious images up there is pure keto, most of the best tasting items anyway. :) So just skip the french fries, rice, pasta and dessert. Eat more fat. At least read up on it, lots of material on the internet.
But as you read, bear in mind to be suspicious of fanatic vegans claiming keto is the worst thing ever. Why? Because they want ALL meat eating to stop. :)
But keto isn't the exact opposite of veganism, it's entirely possible to eat SOME veggies on keto, just not too much of the sweeter ones, like carrots, tomatoes and corn. And it's possible to get by without eating a ton of meat too, I use low-carb protein powder mixed with heavy cream... tastes like dessert. :)
Oh and also check out IF or Intermittent Fasting.
Some things are harder than others. It is about commitment and sacrifice. Magic or change often happens when you say "enough is enough". I believe this time you will make it, since I can feel your burning desire to achieve the goal that you set. Best of luck:).
NSFW :))))
I really hope you find a sustainable way to stay in shape because alternating weight loss with weight gain is not healthy at all for your body.
Looking great feels a lot better than the instant gratification of food, so there is a little hint of where the problem might lie :)
I'll try my best, man.
The food looks wonderful and almost irresitable. Who can blame you for enjoying it? Now, the trick is to find greater pleasure in working the pounds and inches off. We both know you have the personal push to get back in shape! Go slow and steady!
As always thank you for the encouragement!
haha ! nsfw tag? Damn, the festive period is a tough time of the year to be eating well and exercising.
Good luck man, when I move Islands next week I'm looking for a gym and getting on it!
Nice one man! I'll be in one tomorrow.
The blockchain has you accountable!
Congrats on following through. I need to start working on my weight as well, but right now I’m working on quitting cigarettes. Just have to remind myself, one task at a time. Best of luck in your endeavors!
I don't envy you. I quit smoking 6 years ago now. It was tough. You are right one task at the time.
Thanks for chiming in. 6 years, congratulations! Any tips?
I'm the same way when I'm on vacation and especially traveling. No restrictions for fun lol congrats on getting back on the wagon though
Good luck with getting back on the horse. Setbacks are normal when you try to get in better shape, I know I was on and off my diet several times before I got consistent with eating in a healthy way. The holidays sidetracked me too.
It's always those holidays! and thanks man!
Indeed, Health is Wealth
By the way you made my mouth watered with these tasty foods. I had a kidney issue and i remained under the Prevention to many spicy and non-veg food category
I have recovered myself and enjoying all such foods with full joy and fun :P ;)
Exactly in the same way
By the way you're write up is very unique. First i thought you wrote a Poem this time but then i came to know you shared above than poem haha
Stay Blessed @exyle
I believe in you man! The start is the hardest like everyone says but once you make it a routine and then a lifestyle it will be no effort at all. Aim for long term stability over short term losses!
Well... with your cooking skillz I understand how hard is to be in shape. Even if I could do 10% what you can do in the kitchen I would already be as huge as a sumo wrestler.
I feel you man! Be strong! :'((
I agree with you that the start is the hardest, but within a week or two it starts to get better and better.
I remember how hard it is to start getting in shape, so now I try not to stop because of the fear of starting all over and that is what motivates me.
I know you will do this, just make sure you don't overdo so that you will not get too tired because you really want to make this your lifestyle, so make sure you enjoy yourself.
Wish you all the best @exyle
Don't be too hard on yourself :) Remember to enjoy good food, and just be aware of the proportions you're eating in. If you only eat food that bores you, it is way easier to fall back into an unhealthy lifestyle. So remember to do what makes you happy, since a healthy mind is equally as important
Like with Steemit or life for that matter have I realized that its much easier to motivate me when you have a fixed end goal with subgoals along the way.
Have you tried to sign up for a run competetion or maybe maybe my new favorite OCR (obstacle race)?
OCR is good in that way that you need to train your entire body because you want to complete as many obstacles as possible at the race 😊
Good luck with the traning!
I once completed a 14 mile mud run with obstacles in the UK. But truth be told my body is not really built for running.
That impresive!
Not mine either, but it helps me to get motivated to train and is really fun :)
Sorry to jump in with yet another comment, I hope you don't think I'm an insufferable know-it-all... but as I've lived with diabetes for many decades, I've researched the hell out of all the diets and training techniques, and tested many... and in my experience HIIT or High Intentisy Interval Training is the best way to train. Long steady-state aerobic training is not, in fact it's one of the worst ways to do it. Yeah I tried that one too... but only 10 miles at a time. 14 miles, that must have been torture. :(
The food in those pics looked so amazing, I too would have indulged. However, I know u have the will power to get back in the gym. Wishing you all the best as u kick off your diet and workout :)
It tough to stay in shape. Hopefully you can get a good routine going.
Lol right then Steemfat 3 starts here @exyle and it is indeed always easier to make promises for the future than to actually do them hehe, wow @rea sushi looks so good, good luck!
That sushi was perfect :)
@exyle,
You had a great experience there! Such a great delicious foods and one thing I wanna tell you, if you are back to STEEM FAT 3, better you avoid meats with lots of oils! I see you like to eat them too much, I think it's not a good idea!
Cheers~
I've been struggling with my weight for the past 2 years. I indulge, I fast, I indulge, I fast. I can't maintain the healthy weight I look for. I've just recently began intermittent fasting. I give myself an 8 hour window to eat, it's usually between 11am and 7pm. I typically eat a brunch and a dinner but sometimes I'll eat 3 meals. So far so good. I feel great and have actually been getting up early in the morning to work out and and actually look forward to! I applaud you on your attempt. Nothing can be done without attempting, or without trying.
there is one wich is working well: In the morning and the daytime you can eat fat food and lot of calories, but in afternoon and night, no calories are allowed. that worked well for me to loose unwanted kilos, in fact 16kg till now. I was very unhappy before and didnt want to make a diet out there, because for me Diät is a lie, but this small change in the daytime works so well....
Good for you getting "back on the wagon"! Having 2 T. chia x 1 time a day really helps you get that full feeling and it provides tons of vitamins, minerals and even the benefits that fish oil provides. I usually have the chia in my cereal in the morning or in yogurt. It blends in well sprinkled over green salads as well. Good luck loosing. Lol!
"The gym awaits tomorrow for the first but definitely not the last time this year."
The gym will be closed tomorrow, they get new equipment.
Sometimes I win and Sometimes I lose. [THIS IS LIFE @exyle]. I'm happy that you had lot of fun at London during your holidays. I saw some delicious foods. You earned lot of money with your hard work and now its time for party. So you wrote your last line in very funny way, I like it:
The gym awaits tomorrow for the first but definitely not the last time this year. Thanks for your entertaining blog for steemians. Keep it up!
By the way I wrote a Blog with my lot of hard work, I need your honest feedback and some useful tips on it, Please if you could manage 5 mins for me. Thanks in Advance!
This is a tricky one. I would go out for sports. That stretching of those devices in the gym isn't it at all. Do you have a dog? They like to run!
Lol. this got me laughing so hard. 😂
Thanks for sharing this with us.
Happy Steeming

"So, enough is enough. And a promise is a promise."
This comment says a lot. For someone that want to achieve a great milestone in life, this words ought no to be far from that individual. A very courageous word with so much passion, i learn a lot from you, how was your journey? Hope see more of the updates.
@exyle, Very nice to see you in Wonderful pics . and about steemfat 3.
I'm with you, I've got a trip to hawaii that could be rough but will stay active throughout.
PS do we have a tag for this? Can we just use #steemfat
@exyle plant based diet is your best bet when it comes to staying in shape. With the right combination of recipe, you'll get all the nutrients you get from animal based foods and even more..
Best of luck exyle ! I can't wait to see your progress.
I purely desire you will find an alternate solution to be in pattern as changing diet with excess weight is not balanced in any way for your whole body.
Alway with weight too much and too small are bad so just need to balance.
Alway with weight too much and too small are bad so just need to balance.
Yemekler muhtesem ve ben senin yazilarini cok begeniyorum :)
Eat food, mostly plants, and not too much.
Easy.
You will make it :)
