This weekend I will turn 34 years old.
It will also be the fourth year Bianca and I have been together.
And admittedly my life has changed a lot :)
But not just for me, also for my friends and especially in the cleanliness of the house department.
In the past, the last thing on my mind would be to clean anything when my friends would come over.
Nowadays whenever we have friends over I find myself knee deep in bleach cleaning the toilet :)
It's an upgrade for them for sure!
But with birthdays it's always a little different.
Family comes round as well as friends.
There is always something extra that needs to be done.
This year I will find myself upgrading the House of Lords (Yes, I did look up toilet synonyms) with a fresh coat of paint.
I don't always understand why I have to do these things...but I also learned to not always ask questions.
The tiles are dark blue and probably 40 years old.
Today we went to the shop to buy the stuff.
I didn't even know you could paint tiles if I'm honest.
I always thought they came with their own color.
In the shop, I got help from a nice woman that knew all about paint.
She assured me that it's not that difficult.
For some reason, people that are naturally handy always say that...
Let's see....It's all planned for Thursday.

First of all Happy Birthday(my bday was last week☺️) and also congrats on your 4th year of being a couple! Fresh coats of paint do wonders on anything! You can also paint countertops and fabric (using a diluted mixture of chalk paint) as well!

And yes, when you have people over the House of Lords (and especially the throne) need to be cleaned with bleach! LOL Yes you can paint tiles and it is fairly easy. I don't think you can paint tiles unless you scrub them with abrasives but if it will spruce up your house of the lords then go ahead now @exyle
