As a few of you may know, my wife @rea is abroad on a business vacation. Whilst this is the present case, our little cat is pining for her at home. We first got her around six years ago from a friend whose cat had just giving birth to a litter of kittens. She was the last one to be found a home. Initially, we had no intention of getting another cat (as we already had one at the time), but this tiny animal worked it's charm to find a way into her heart.
Since we've had her, she has brought nothing but joy to the household. Being very meek by nature, she has but one sole desire in life. To be wherever @rea is. That small pile of clothes next to her is actually a sweater that my wife regularly wears. Many a night whilst @rea is blogging away on the computer, "Mini" curls up in her lap and falls asleep. Sometimes for hours at a stretch. So, seeing this did touch me somewhat, in that this is her way of replicating that same "comfort bubble" she wants so bad. She misses @rea terribly so I posted this up for not only @rea to see and probably shed some tears over, but also to introduce you guys to one of my wife's most treasured loves in her life.
Don't worry, Mini! Not too long now before you're both reunited once again! :)

Wow, now this is very emotional as I tried so hard to hold my tears back. Never knew cats were emotional, I have seen crazy cat videos and to me they are a write off. I have always preferred dogs coz I believe they are loyal and emotional but this has changed my perspective about cats.
The cat really looks cute but why didn't @rea take the cat along?
I'm with you, bud. I'm usually more of a "dog" person, but our cat has opened up some room for me to love cats as well. They get a bad rap for not being as caring as other pets, but this is definitely not the case with Mini. :)

Sure, I've never seen anybody as loyal as them. My friend used to have a dog in their apartments, after one of their neighbors vacated the apartment to another apartment, He went back after 5 years to say hi, my friend's dog (Jerry) still recognized him, come and see the way she jumped at him.
He was so much excited to see that Jerry still recognised him despite such a long year interval.
Most of the children that were just learning to walk and talk before he left the place could not even recognize him, but she does.
They are wired with such a good memory.

Cats are very lovely creatures. They love their owners and get attached to them. It is a nice feeling to go back home and find someone waiting for you :)

Nice to meet Mini! Me and my wife love cats and overall animals. As a matter of we are taking care of homeless cat for over 4 years. It’s impos to take her home, but she is happy spending her time on our backyard. We call her Sisi. I’m sure Mini will be fine.
What an awesome and endearing responsibility you guys have taken on! Finding homes for abandoned or stray animals, is something that warrants infinite respect from me! :)

Thats very well said and infact it is 100% true. We don t need to just care about the feelings and emotions of human beings because i tell youbthat animals and living things aldo carry emotions , may be even deeper than ours. Please respect animals and don t hurt them.
