According to the English Oxford dictionary a friend is a person with whom one has a bond of mutual affection, typically one exclusive of sexual or family relations.
Personally, I am of the opinion that kids who are friends exhibit the purest example of friendship, they also show the beauty of friendship without any political, sexual or selfish interest attached. Looking at the kids who are friends you will notice some of the following traits in their friendship.
- They always talk about each other to everyone around them.
- They stand up for one another during difficult situations.
- They don't care about the social status, race or religion of their friends
- They share pure and unadulterated feelings of mutual affection with one another.
- They help each other out in times of crisis without expecting anything in return.
Someone you open your true self to is called a friend. We all have something called a reserved character, one we keep to ourself, sometimes we expose this character only when we are alone. Sometimes we might feel embarrassed showing this character to other other people, but the ones we expose this the character ( Reserved character) to are the people we can call our friends.
Our friends are those people we feel at home with, we feel free, relaxed, and happy whenever we are with them. In major cases we feel really excited with our friends, that a day with them is a good day to remember.
Our friends gives us a daily way, a reason to show we have a reason to live with them. Time spent with our friends creates special moments for us in our lives, these moments gives us purpose to live, because the best of us comes from us living these moments. Our most beautiful, intelligent and smart side is seen when we are with our friends.
A true friend is one who gives you good moments to remember. Sometimes we just need to discover our friend(s) so we can discover our purpose. A true friend puts you in the best track of your life. Just a glance at your friend you develop feelings of gladness, joy, happiness and satisfaction.
Satisfaction is what you get from a true friend, sometimes one true friend is what you need to live a satisfactory life, sometimes it could be more than one, but we should note that in every stage of our lives we will always need a true friend to help us live our life to the fullest.
A lonely man is a man that has no friends, when you push all your friends away from you, you end up creating a lonely life. A lonely life has no purpose to live, a lonely life is boring, because social memories can't be created for the lonely. The lonely has no memories or moments to talk about, the lonely has no one to talk to and no one to listen to, but the man with friends has someone to tell about all the awesome things that has happened and that will happen to him.
Friendship is an important thing to have in life, it keeps us going, it keeps us moving forward. If you want to develop yourself, you will need a constructive friend. God created friends for us so we won't be alone, so we have someone to share our dreams and hopes with. We were not created to live alone, we need friends so we can live life to the fullest, friends that will bring out our best and take us to a higher level than we currently are at. Human beings are social beings.
Make a good friend, be a good friend.
