Another country has escaped the grip of the deadly polio epidemic. The world Health Organisation (WHO) announced that new cases of polio had not been recorded in Somalia in the last 3 years. The WHO called for the vaccination campaign to be strengthened to reduce vulnerability. Afghanistan, Nigeria and Pakistan are the remaining countries where polio is still being recorded.
