We know our journey towards this so much sweet success has never been easy. Life was so difficult for us and it seems that heaven covers us the entire dark world. Great sufferings come side by side – rear and front. Everywhere we go, come and test our strength, our worth our dignity.

Last 20 years ago, we are living in the Mountainous part of Boljoon, Cebu, Philippines. Yes, poverty strikes, we are sink with debt and any other financial problem, we just depend on crops for food but it’s just seasonal. Sometimes, my father gets income from being a carpenter.....most of the time..nothing..!

With the ambition of my parents to lift us from poverty, my mother decided to work in manila as a house helper (kasambahay) for almost 8 years and my father go to the city and work as a construction worker, so the 3 of us are just left home. By then, at very young age we’re able practice to be responsible enough for our actions to avoid misunderstandings and quarrels.. NO PARENTS TO DISCIPLINE US ANYMORE and NO MORE TO PREPARE US FOR FOODS..!!! .

But her earnings was not enough to sustain our needs since our older brother is already highschool at that time. So, my mother decided to go abroad, she was applying for a Domestic Helper just to support our needs.
She choose being away from us just to give her family a brighter future, she able to carries, burdens, sufferings, pains and heartaches for her beloved family. All of her dreams to let us finished college almost came to an end when, three of us take college education simultaneously. I’m 1st year, my sister was 2nd and my brother is 5th at that time, expenses side by side, tuitions fees, allowances and any other aspects needs financial supports. But with the strong desires of my parents, they able to find ways by borrowing money from relatives and friends...

Despite of those trials we encountered in life we partially able to overcome it all.

Even if our parents are not with us for almost 16 years of studying, no parents to guide us, comfort us in times of downfalls and parents who can celebrate with us in times of achievements... We still able to manage our studies. Modesty aside, our sufferings filled-up in our minds to eagerly achieve our dreams and lift our family from poverty. In fact, We graduated as achievers in academe.

BUT ALL OF THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE WITHOUT THE GUIDANCE OF OUR LORD GOD!

Special thanks to my mother, who work abroad as domestic helper for 10 years.
Ma and pa, you deserve all of our diplomas and license as professionals.. Thank you so much..
Without your tears and sweats, we don't know where you gonna find us right now....

My message to youngster specially for their parents working abroad.
you guys, don't ever make your parents disappoint of you, their sacrifices, struggles and heartaches are priceless, only your success can pay it off.. we don't know how many bags of tears and basins of sweats they wasted for us.. So I encourage you all, do not waste the money they give to you, instead do your best to give them what they need for you,,, to see you successful...Godbless you all!
